HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR WEEKENDS?
Anything out of the way. Something to look forward to………
Something ordinary, but necessary.
Something special, like making new dishes.
Something interesting, like get togethers, visiting friends or relatives.
Going out, excursions, sightseeing ………
Mohan: How do you spend your weekends?
Meera: Oh, I am as busy as a bee during the weekends.
Mohan: What do you do?
Meera: I visit my grandparents. They live in the neighboring village.
Mohan: Isn’t it boring to live in a village?
Meera: Oh no, it is refreshing. You can enjoy life. Live with nature
and enjoy its charms and beauty. It is real fun .We have a
gala time. We go out into the fields. We climb trees. We enjoy
ourselves thoroughly. You should come along with me once.
Mohan: Are you serious? Won’t your grandparents be put to trouble?
Meera: Absolutely not. They will not mind. In fact, they will be
happy to see my friends.
Mohan: I will put the idea across to my father.
Meera: You are welcome.
A little bit of reflection and introspection.
Different people do different things. No two persons will spend
their time in a similar fashion.
Think of how you spend your time.
Take a look at the activities of the members in your family.
Some people are workaholics.
Some people are happy, carefree people who will grumble if any
restrictions are imposed on them.
Some people have water tight compartments, Work is different
from rest.
Some people have a definite schedule and will always stick to it.
In some cases there are unwritten rules that have to be followed.
WHAT DO YOUAND THE MEMBERS OF YOUR FAMILY DO?
relax, get together, unwind, share chores, watch a family movie, visit
friends, fish out new recipes, prepare new dishes,
up at, get up, take a break, set out, go out, set off, pick up,
laze around, clean up, spring cleaning, skip breakfast, an early lunch,
steal a nap, catch up with, retire to bed,
on my feet, no breathing space, pile up, check out, check up, sit
together, exchange views, take some resolutions, plan for, agree with,
abide by.
WHAT DO YOUAND THE MEMBERS OF YOUR FAMILY DO?
Now you can change your presentation to the Past Tense.
You can speak about the activities of the members in your family.
You can make your presentation creative.
