This research paper proposal aims to examine the effectiveness of blended learning methods on students from low socioeconomic backgrounds. The research questions whether digital learning affects the performance of these students. Students from low-income areas often lack access to digital tools and face challenges like health issues and lack of resources that can impact cognition and ability to engage with blended learning. While blended learning combines traditional and digital methods and has been shown to actively engage students, those from low-income backgrounds may not have the means to access necessary technology. The research intends to directly test if blended learning correlates with performance for these students and could provide insights to help educators better support their learning.
