Multimedia can enhance student learning in several ways. It can broaden students' knowledge by providing visual context that makes lessons more engaging and understandable. Research also shows multimedia can help expand students' vocabularies. Videos, images, and audio can be used as pre-activities, extended activities, and to spark class discussions, helping students make connections between multimedia content and classroom lessons. Teachers also benefit from being able to save and access multimedia materials digitally rather than relying on physical materials like chalkboards.
