This document discusses different types of cameras. It describes five main types: pinhole cameras which use a single small aperture without a lens; view cameras which have adjustable lenses and viewfinders; twin lens reflex cameras which use two lenses of the same focal length, one for viewing and one for capturing images; rangefinder cameras which measure subject distance; and single lens reflex cameras which allow viewing through the lens being used to take the photo. For each type, the key features, advantages, and disadvantages are outlined.
