This document provides 7 goals and 6 tips for taking a library website to the next level. The goals are to 1) create engaging content for visitors, 2) answer customer questions, 3) provide basic information, 4) staff the website with real library employees, 5) create and meet measurable goals, 6) engage with customers in places they gather online, and 7) design the website to be mobile friendly. The 6 tips are to connect with relevant content, analyze and improve the website, talk to customers, recognize that every organization is now a media company, and thank visitors.
