5. What is the Selo Verde
Platform (Green Seal)?
The SeloVerde Platform subsidizes
the monitoring and evaluation of
sustainable agricultural development
policies and the fight against illegal
deforestation in the State of Pará

6. It integrates government data, making
it possible to generate an automatic
analysis of all properties registered in
the Rural Environmental Registry -
CAR. It is the first public tool in Brazil
capable of carrying out traceability and
assessment of deforestation in
agricultural chains. An innovative
system adopted in Pará in favor of
sustainable agriculture.
ABOUT THE PLATFORM

7. The seal has models that assess the
compliance of rural properties, registered
in SICAR/PA, with the Forestry Code, and
generate a diagnosis of the environmental
suitability of the property, and enables the
traceability of direct and indirect suppliers
of cattle.
HOW IT WORKS?

8. How to access the Green Seal? Public access information is obtained from the
property code registered in the Rural
Environmental Registry (CAR), which receives a
seal according to its degree of environmental
compliance and cattle transaction status.

9. • Allows rural producers, slaughterhouses and/or interested parties to evaluate their rural
properties and/or suppliers free of charge;
• Enables the definition of strategies/actions to regularize non-conformities;
• Generates transparency, adds value to agricultural production and access to national and
international markets with socio-environmental responsibility
