“Being used by God
is not confined to pastors, preachers or teachers. Anybody can be an instrument
in God's hands.”
God can use anybody, believer or nonbeliever.
John 3:1-5. A New Life In Christ. In the new life we have been born again. In the new life we are a new creation. In the new life we crucify the flesh with its passions and desires. In the new life we are transformed by the renewing of our minds. In the new life we are renewed by the Holy Spirit. In the new life we are dead to sin but alive to God. In the new life we are washed from our sins. in the new life we put to death the old man and put on the new man. In the new life we died and our life is hidden with Christ in God. In the new life we were brought back from death in sin.
It is common to refer to the process of maturing as a disciple as spiritual formation. Here, based upon work by Greg Ogden, I give a four stage process for growing into maturity, and fruitfulness, as a follower of King Jesus.

Know Your Enemy: Series on Spiritual Warfare (Part 1)David Turner
Part One in a Series on Spiritual Warfare. You can't fight the enemy if you don't know you have an enemy. You can't prepare for the enemy unless you know something about the enemy. Visit us at Bibleguy.org
Tomorrow we are starting a new series of study:
“The New Man” is a seminar that will focus on the spirit of man, its soul and its body.
We will learn the properties of each one of these three parts of man.
Our spirit is called to be the ruling part of us, actually, our spirit is the main part of our being, and is the place where the spirit of God dwells in.
We meet in Room #3 at CTF Toronto Wednesdays from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. I invite you to come and participate with us in this discovery of how to let our spirit become the ruler of our life.
Before Christ came into our lives, we were children of darkness. But even as God is light, and Christ is the light of the world, so also are we are children of light. As such, we ought to walk in the light and behave in a manner consistent with our calling. Wake up oh Christian and let your light shine.
Walk Wisely, be Filled - Ephesians 5:15-21David Turner
Believers are called Children of Light! But Children of Light must walk in the light and have wisdom to know that they can be drawn in to darkness. The Spirit is the guide that keeps us from darkness. Ephesians 5:15-21 warns Children of Light to depend on the Spirit and not be drawn back into the darkness they once walked. it is impossible for us , being a human to be satisfied while we are in our physical life! King Solomon the wisest and the richest king said "everything is vanity". this message tells us that we can experience satisfaction through the presence God. therefore let us aim and aspire His presence above all things. God bless!
We know the dictionary definition of worship (a feeling, or devotion to a deity), and we have read John 4:24, "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth"; but, what does the Bible teach us about the subject of worship? This is a series of lessons that gets to the heart of worship and what it really means for Christians.

1 Cor. 1:9-10 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
A brief look at a figurative description of God sitting on His throne in heaven followed by a brief description of what is required for us to have fellowship with this eternal life.

"He has given us of His Spirit" Part 2Dave Stewart
In this lesson we’ll learn a little bit more about the Holy Spirit. We’ll discuss the person of the Holy Spirit, and His role in miracles, conversion and understanding the Word. This lesson was influenced by the writings of Wayne Jackson (https://www.christiancourier.com/articles/29-false-ideas-about-the-holy-spirit) and Jim McGuiggan (http://www.jimmcguiggan.com/reflections3.asp?status=The+Holy+Spirit&id=361).
[Romans8:12-17; Ephesians 5:15-21] — Clearly the Bible teaches that the Holy Spiirit indwells, influences and leads the child of God. The question is how does the Bible, (the Holy Spirit’s revelation) tell us He does it. — AUDIO PART 1 / AUDIO PART 2 / PPT / KEYNOTE / PDF - 12/25/2016
We are born from above to live from above. We must live out of our life in Christ and live in accordance to Kingdom ways and principles. We colabor with God to walk in the natural what He has already completed for us in the spiritual. Living from above is the key to living a victorious Christian life.

Mt 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Mk 16:15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
Act 1:8 "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
Mt 13:15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.'
Tit 2:11-14 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
Act 20:35 "I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive."
Rom 8:5-8 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Rom 12:1 I appeal to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
Act 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
Heb 2:3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him.
Jn 12:42-43 Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
Col 3:1-2 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
Mt 17:20 So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

3. Walking in the Spirit!
Gal. 5:16 I say then: Walk in the
Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust
of the flesh.
Gal. 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let
us also walk in the Spirit.
4. The Bible has a great deal to say
about our walk!
▪ Walk in the light! (1 Jn. 1:7)
▪ Walk in love, light and wisdom! (Eph. 5:2,
8 & 15)
▪ Walk by faith, not by sight! (2 Cor. 5:7)
▪ Walk in all the ways of the Lord! (Deut.
5:33
▪ Walk in good works! (Eph. 3:10)
▪ Walk in the Spirit! (Gal. 5:15 & 25)
5. Walking with God!
▪ Gen 5:22 And Enoch walked with God
after he begat Methuselah three hundred
years, and begat sons and daughters:
▪ Gen 5:24 And Enoch walked with God:
and he was not; for God took him.
▪ Gen 6:9 These are the generations of
Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in
his generations, and Noah walked with
God
6. Out of the three persons in the God- head,
the Holy Spirit often receives the least
attention!
▪ The word “Godhead” is only found three times!
▸Act 17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of
God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto
gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
▸Ro 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the
creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood
by the things that are made, even his eternal power and
Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
▸Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the
Godhead bodily.
7. Trinity or Tri-Unity of God!
God in three persons!
▪ Even though these words are not found, the
concept clearly is!
▸1 Jn 5:7 For there are three that bear witness in
heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit;
and these three are one.
▪ A proper understanding of this is needed to
understand the Bible correctly!
▸Gen. 1:26-27
▸Matt. 3:16-17 & 28:19
▸1 Pet. 1:2
8. I. Our Relationship to the Spirit is
Personal!
▪ Even in this room tonight I am sure there are a
number of beliefs about the indwelling of the Holy
Spirit and what this means for the Christian.
▸I am not going to try to argue you to my side if
you disagree with me, but I do desire that our
beliefs will continue to bring us back to God’s
Word and His teaching on this subject!
▸Rom 3:4 Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true
but every man a liar. As it is written ...
9. The Fact of a Personal Indwelling!
▪ 1Cor 3:16 Do you not know that you are the
temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells
in you?
▪ 1Cor 6:19 Or do you not know that your body
is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you,
whom you have from God, and you are not your
own?
▪ Rom 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the
Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you.
Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ,
he is not His.
10. This takes place at the time of our
obedience!
▪ Act. 5:32 "And we are His witnesses to these things,
and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to
those who obey Him."
▪ Earlier in Act. 2:38 we read of “the gift of the Holy
Spirit!” Meaning either a gift the Spirit gives (i.e
salvation) or the Spirit as a gift!
▸Example of the Spirit being given as “the gift of
God!” (Act. 8:17-20)
▸Eph 5:18 And be not drunken with wine, wherein
is riot, but be filled with the Spirit;
11. II. Our Relationship to the Spirit is
Purposeful!
▪ The questions is often ask, what is the purpose
of this then? Why does the Spirit indwell us?
▪ One purpose it to bear witness for us that we
are children of God!
▸Rom. 8:15-16 For you did not receive the
spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received
the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out,
"Abba, Father." The Spirit Himself bears
witness with our spirit that we are children of
God,
12. Other purposes for this ...
▪ Eph 1:13 In Him you also trusted, after you
heard the word of truth, the gospel of your
salvation; in whom also, having believed, you
were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
▪ Eph 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of
God, by whom you were sealed for the day of
redemption.
▪ 2 Cor 1:22 who also has sealed us and given
us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.
▪ Gal. 5:16-26 over come the works of the flesh
and produce fruit!
13. III. Our Relationship to the Spirit is
Powerful!
▪ This can be seen throughout Bible history, and
in the early church! The Spirit comes with power!
(Act. 1:8 cf. 2:1-4)
▸What about in our day and time?
▸Does the Spirit still do anything for us?
▪ Yes!!! He is still actively involved in the lives of
God’s children!
▸He intercedes in our prayers! (Rom. 8:26)
▸He gives us strength! (Eph. 3:16-21)
14. Led/ Guided by the Spirit!
(Gal. 5:16-18)
▪ The Apostles were promised that when the Holy Spirit
came He would lead them into all truth!
▸Jn 16:13 "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has
come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not
speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears
He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”
▪ We now have the completed revealed will given by
the Spirit! (It has been written down for us!)
▸2 Pet. 1:2-3 cf. Jn. 20:30-31
▸Jude 1:3
▸Eph. 6:17 The Word is the sword of the Spirit!
15. Conclusion:
▪ Have you come to believe God and receive
the gift of the Holy Spirit? Have you come to be
sealed with the Spirit of God? If not, then why
not?
▪ If you are a Christian, then have you been
using “God’s temple” as you should?
▪ Do we fully understand that we are the temple
of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in us?
▪ Gal 5:16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you
shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
