Grumble: complain Example: We're going to buy icecream I hate icecream I grumbled. Bringing up: subject: raise Example: When someone brings up the topic of their father, they get really sad. Groaned: vocal sound Example: We're not going to bring him with us I groaned in complaint. Came to halt: to stop; to slow down and stop Example: I slowly woke up as the car came to a halt.

Fumbled:to feel or grope about clumsily Crowded: Filled to excess Ex: The stadium was crowded with people. Slammed her foot on the brakes: To violently push the brakes. Ex: I slammed my foot on the brakes when I noticed a person in the middle of the road.

Overtake: To catch up with Example: I overtook the 1st runner and won the race. Pile up: A quantity of objects stacked together. Example: I piled up the magazines on my desk and left Blasted: Used as an intensive. Example: The explosion blasted through my ears. Horn: A usually electrical signaling device that produces a loud resonant sound: an automobile horn. Example: I pressed the horn so the car in front of me would move.

Swerved back into: Swerving and weaving down the road to get through traffic. Example: The traffic was so crowded that it took me 10 minutes to swerve back into it. Menacingly: something that threatens to cause evil, harm, injury, etc.; a threat. Example: He shot me a glance, menacingly Don't you dare. Tremble: to shake involuntarily with quick, short movements, as from fear,excitement, weakness, or cold; quake; quiver. Example: The cold numbed my whole body a suddenly I started to tremble. Spotted: Seen somewhere. Example: Leonardo DiCaprio has been spotted at the train station with his family. Relief:alleviation, ease, or deliverance through the removal of pain, distress,oppression, etc. Example: As soon as I saw him, I let out a sigh of relief.

Twist: to alter in shape, as by turning the ends in opposite directions, so that parts previously in the same straight line and plane are located in a spiral curve. Example: I twisted the end of the cable so that it would charge. Turn: to cause to move around on an axis or about a center; rotate Example: I turned left in Vicente López. Skidded into: to slide along without rotating, as a wheel to which a brake has been applied. Exmple: I skidded into the road. Head on collision: A headon collision is a traffic collision where the front ends of two vehicles such as cars, trains, ships or planes hit each other in opposite directions, as opposed to a side collision or rearend collision. Ex: The accident had consisted on a head on collision To lurch: An act or instance of swaying abruptly. Example: I lurched the lamp at his head.

Retaliated:To return like for like, especially evil for evil. take revenge. Example: He had stolen from me so I had to retaliate him. Pull lever with: A lever is a handle, sticking out at an angle, that allows you to operate a machine or close a door . When you pull the lever of a voting booth, you both cast your ballot and open the curtain. Bounced: To rebound after having struck an object or a surface. Example: The ball bounced against the pavement. Chasing me: Being followed Example: The dog had been chasing me for 2 hours. Grabbed: To take or grasp suddenly. Example: I grabbed his arm and told him to be careful.

Aimed: to intend or direct for a particular effect or purpose. Example: I grabbed the gun and aimed at his head. Pull over: To stop driving a car. Example: I pulled over to check on my brakes and the I continued driving. Crouched: to bend close to the ground, as an animal preparing to spring or shrinking with fear. Example: I crouched to the floor so she couldn't see me coming.
