OBJECTIVE
• Build capacity in the “art of teaching” and the
development of teachers as designers of
learners.
– Beginning Level of Technology Implementation
– Intermediate Level of Technology Implementation
– Advanced Level of Technology Implementation
Engagement that Leads to Enrichment
• Visioning Team will
present current
programs that are used
on the campus for
enrichment during staff
development on
08/20/2013.
• Visioning Team will
cultivate a digital
learning farm for each
level of learners.
• Evidence that will be
used to identify
transformation will be
the evolution and
design of the lesson
plans which will include
the video of at least one
lesson in the first six
weeks of school.
Tackling Technology and Engaging
Students
• On September 20,
2013, after students are
dismissed, Visioning
Team will facilitate
defining transformation.
Time will be given for a
reflective piece for
teachers to see what
they would like to
transform.
• Evidence that will be
used to identify
transformation will be
teacher panels and
surveys and classroom
observations.
Tackling Technology and Engaging
Students
• On November 1, 2013,
after students are
dismissed, the Visioning
Team will do skits
identifying comparing and
contrasting active
engagement in the
classroom. To conclude,
teachers will review
lessons for the third six
weeks and produce two
new activities that will
engage students.
• Evidence that will be used
to identify transformation
will be the change of
delivery with lessons and
the requests for
professional
development.
• Evidence that we want to
see will be ACTIVE
engagement of students.
Tackling Technology and Engaging
Students
• On March 28, 2014, after
the students are
dismissed, the library will
be transformed into a
digital farm. Sample
lessons will be made
available for each level of
technology – beginning,
intermediate, and
advanced. Teachers will
create a lesson at the
next level.
• Evidence that will be used
to identify that
transformation is
occurring will be the
lessons and delivery of
lessons and the level of
involvement seen in the
classrooms.
Administration will
complete a comparison of
discipline referral for the
past three years.
Tackling Technology and Engaging
Students
• On May 9, 2014, the
Visioning Team will
present a SWOT
Analysis for the faculty
to complete in
preparation for the
2014 – 2015 school
year.
• Teachers will complete
survey regarding
student engagement.
• Evidence that will be
used to identify
transformation will
include teacher panel,
teacher survey, teaching
for understanding, and
requests for
professional
development
Staff Development Days
• October 14, 2013
• Staff development will
consist of creating
common assessments.
• Activities will be created
for beginning,
intermediate, and
advanced technology
teachers.
• Administrators will use
different levels of
technology when
presenting to teachers.
• February 17, 2014
• Staff development will
consist of depth of
knowledge questioning
and common
assessments.
• Visioning Team will
present lessons for each
genre at the intermediate
level.

Engagement that Leads to Enrichment • Visioning Team will present current programs that are used on the campus for enrichment during staff development on 08/20/2013. • Visioning Team will cultivate a digital learning farm for each level of learners. • Evidence that will be used to identify transformation will be the evolution and design of the lesson plans which will include the video of at least one lesson in the first six weeks of school.
  • 4. Tackling Technology and Engaging Students • On September 20, 2013, after students are dismissed, Visioning Team will facilitate defining transformation. Time will be given for a reflective piece for teachers to see what they would like to transform. • Evidence that will be used to identify transformation will be teacher panels and surveys and classroom observations.

Tackling Technology and Engaging Students • On November 1, 2013, after students are dismissed, the Visioning Team will do skits identifying comparing and contrasting active engagement in the classroom. To conclude, teachers will review lessons for the third six weeks and produce two new activities that will engage students. • Evidence that will be used to identify transformation will be the change of delivery with lessons and the requests for professional development. • Evidence that we want to see will be ACTIVE engagement of students.
  • 6. Tackling Technology and Engaging Students • On March 28, 2014, after the students are dismissed, the library will be transformed into a digital farm. Sample lessons will be made available for each level of technology – beginning, intermediate, and advanced. Teachers will create a lesson at the next level. • Evidence that will be used to identify that transformation is occurring will be the lessons and delivery of lessons and the level of involvement seen in the classrooms. Administration will complete a comparison of discipline referral for the past three years.

Tackling Technology and Engaging Students • On May 9, 2014, the Visioning Team will present a SWOT Analysis for the faculty to complete in preparation for the 2014 – 2015 school year. • Teachers will complete survey regarding student engagement. • Evidence that will be used to identify transformation will include teacher panel, teacher survey, teaching for understanding, and requests for professional development

Staff Development Days • October 14, 2013 • Staff development will consist of creating common assessments. • Activities will be created for beginning, intermediate, and advanced technology teachers. • Administrators will use different levels of technology when presenting to teachers. • February 17, 2014 • Staff development will consist of depth of knowledge questioning and common assessments. • Visioning Team will present lessons for each genre at the intermediate level.
