lesson in the first six
weeks of school.

dismissed, Visioning
Team will facilitate
defining transformation.
Time will be given for a
reflective piece for
teachers to see what
they would like to
transform.
• Evidence that will be
used to identify
transformation will be
teacher panels and
surveys and classroom
observations.
5. Tackling Technology and Engaging
Students
• On November 1, 2013,
after students are
dismissed, the Visioning
Team will do skits
identifying comparing and
contrasting active
engagement in the
classroom. To conclude,
teachers will review
lessons for the third six
weeks and produce two
new activities that will
engage students.
• Evidence that will be used
to identify transformation
will be the change of
delivery with lessons and
the requests for
professional
development.
• Evidence that we want to
see will be ACTIVE
engagement of students.
6. Tackling Technology and Engaging
Students
• On March 28, 2014, after
the students are
dismissed, the library will
be transformed into a
digital farm. Sample
lessons will be made
available for each level of
technology – beginning,
intermediate, and
advanced. Teachers will
create a lesson at the
next level.
• Evidence that will be used
to identify that
transformation is
occurring will be the
lessons and delivery of
lessons and the level of
involvement seen in the
classrooms.
Administration will
complete a comparison of
discipline referral for the
past three years.
7. Tackling Technology and Engaging
Students
• On May 9, 2014, the
Visioning Team will
present a SWOT
Analysis for the faculty
to complete in
preparation for the
2014 – 2015 school
year.
• Teachers will complete
survey regarding
student engagement.

for understanding, and
requests for
professional
