TeamPark book (english) part 1, vision and inspirationPatrick Savalle
In every company, it is possible to identify processes that do not thrive well in a bureaucratic structure. The localization of people, content, and expertise, the utilization of special talents and the maintenance of usable innovation: many things run more smoothly when use is made of an organization’s social dimension. Many tasks can be performed better by organizing employees not just in teams but also in communities and crowds. An organization that makes use of social media,
social networks, crowdsourcing, stigmergic collaboration and other “2.0” concepts has an advantage over its competitors. This type of organization is what we are calling the “Intelligent Organization.”
This book gives a vision of that new organization. The accompanying book is "TeamPark, platform and method".
This document discusses strategies to reduce private motorization and traffic congestion in developing Asian cities like Dhaka. It proposes designing experiments to substantially improve transportation alternatives in Dhaka within 3 months by making walking, cycling, and public transit more appealing and accessible. The best ideas would be rapidly prototyped with help from a global-local design team. The experiments would then be broadcast online to attract investors to help scale successful solutions. The goal is to avoid projected increases in private vehicle ownership by developing appealing non-driving lifestyles supported by mobile technology and information systems.

Metrics on page views and edits show increasing engagement with the service. The goal is to transition from an experimental phase to productive long-term operation, selecting a platform that can support an expanding community focus.

Developing skills like cultural awareness, patience and open-
This document discusses open education in Europe through 2030. It begins by defining different types of "openness" in education, from open classrooms to open educational resources. Next, it examines the history of open education through different waves starting in the 1960s. The document then outlines tensions between learner-initiated and externally guided education. Several scenarios for open education in 2030 are presented, ranging from fully guided to self-directed learning. The document concludes by noting the scenarios are not mutually exclusive and openness can take different forms depending on the sector and learner needs.
The document discusses the benefits of exercise for mental health. Regular physical activity can help reduce anxiety and depression and improve mood and cognitive functioning. Exercise causes chemical changes in the brain that may help protect against mental illness and improve symptoms.

Networks come in all shapes and sizes. However, if you want to be a system shifting network you will need to put in place scaffolding so that transformation can emerge easily and quickly. In nature, billions of soil organisms and mycorrhizal fungal mats work together to form this type of scaffolding to distribute resources and support the growth of plants and trees as they create a forest. There are 6 basic structures that work together to create an environment for rapid change. Some, such as innovation funds, have been prototyped by many different networks. Others, such as communications systems and governance systems, are still in their infancy. Join June Holley and Yasmin Yonis from Network Weaver for a discussion about the necessary scaffolding for truly transformational networks.

THE SACRIFICE HOW PRO-PALESTINE PROTESTS STUDENTS ARE SACRIFICING TO CHANGE T...indexPub
The recent surge in pro-Palestine student activism has prompted significant responses from universities, ranging from negotiations and divestment commitments to increased transparency about investments in companies supporting the war on Gaza. This activism has led to the cessation of student encampments but also highlighted the substantial sacrifices made by students, including academic disruptions and personal risks. The primary drivers of these protests are poor university administration, lack of transparency, and inadequate communication between officials and students. This study examines the profound emotional, psychological, and professional impacts on students engaged in pro-Palestine protests, focusing on Generation Z's (Gen-Z) activism dynamics. This paper explores the significant sacrifices made by these students and even the professors supporting the pro-Palestine movement, with a focus on recent global movements. Through an in-depth analysis of printed and electronic media, the study examines the impacts of these sacrifices on the academic and personal lives of those involved. The paper highlights examples from various universities, demonstrating student activism's long-term and short-term effects, including disciplinary actions, social backlash, and career implications. The researchers also explore the broader implications of student sacrifices. The findings reveal that these sacrifices are driven by a profound commitment to justice and human rights, and are influenced by the increasing availability of information, peer interactions, and personal convictions. The study also discusses the broader implications of this activism, comparing it to historical precedents and assessing its potential to influence policy and public opinion. The emotional and psychological toll on student activists is significant, but their sense of purpose and community support mitigates some of these challenges. However, the researchers call for acknowledging the broader Impact of these sacrifices on the future global movement of FreePalestine.
