The Violence Prevention & Response Program (VPR) at UMKC aims to strengthen the university's response to violence through victim support services, advocacy, training, and education. The VPR provides basic crisis intervention and ongoing case management. It also offers training to faculty, staff and students on issues like sexual assault and healthy relationships. All incoming UMKC students must complete the online "Not Anymore" training program which covers topics like consent and bystander intervention. The VPR also runs various awareness campaigns and events throughout the year on topics like stalking, sexual assault, and dating violence.
