A survey conducted in April 2015 among 400 Vietnamese females over 20 revealed that only 57% engage in skincare and 31% use makeup, with 53% paying attention to beauty without significant spending. Hair treatments (72%) and facial treatments (52%) are the most commonly utilized services, with price being the key factor influencing service selection. Higher income earners tend to spend more on beauty services, while social networks like Facebook and friends are primary sources of beauty information.
