Vidyo Solutions Revolutionize Collaboration in Customer Engagementaliciasyc
Megatrends, like big data, the Internet of Things, wearable tech, and next-generation search engines, have already touched our lives. But by 2025, when Frost & Sullivan forecasts the world will support more than 50 billion connected devices, these technologies will dramatically transform how we access information, balance our work and personal lives, and communicate with each other.
Video conferencing is a familiar productivity tool in many conference rooms and it has become routine for workers to meet face-to-face via desktops and mobile devices. But within 10 years, analysts predict that one-click visual communication will be embedded in almost every device, making it possible for consumers to access personalized interactive services as varied as banking, healthcare, education, and shopping from virtually any connected device.

Introduction to FIDO and eIDAS ServicesFIDO Alliance
eIDAS stands for “electronic identification, authentication and trust services.” It builds the legal basis for cross-border interoperability of electronic identification, authentication, and electronic signatures amongst EU Member States.
This webinar slide deck explores the relationship between FIDO2 standards and eIDAS compliant schemes that can accommodate modern authentication protocols. The webinar will include:
An introduction to eIDAS
An overview on how to use FIDO as part of an eID scheme
An overview on using FIDO2 for authentication to Qualified Trust Service Providers (QTSPs)
This webinar is ideal for governmental agencies that are interested in using FIDO2 as part of an eIDAS notified eID scheme, and QTSPs who are interested in deploying eIDAS remote signing services that leverage the FIDO2 standard.

These slides use concepts from my (Jeff Funk) course on Business Models at National University of Singapore to analyze the business model for Jasper. Jasper provides a platform for the Internet of Things that enable companies to connect their “things” to the Internet. It provides each thing with a global SIM card that works with local telco wireless systems. It also provides a middleware platform that enables data analysis and presentation. This enables users to monitor their things 24/7, better manage costs and customer usage, and integrate these outputs with their own IT systems. Jasper charges for each connection and thus begins making money as soon as users connect to their systems. The slides describe the value proposition, method of value capture, customers, scope of activities, and method of strategic control for Jasper.

Online Video Collaboration for Manufacturing Industry - Summary ReportAbhizar Bootwala
Large companies with project teams spread over several countries and multiple time zones are increasingly turning to videoconferencing to connect geographically dispersed groups. Companies are realizing that flying employees from one location to the next not only chalks up travel costs, but also decreases productivity and leads to team exhaustion.
Of course, videoconferencing isn’t a complete replacement for face-to-face meetings. Companies that are leading the way in videoconferencing report those periodic in-person visits are still necessary and they caution that videoconferencing is most effective if team members already have an existing relationship. There’s no doubt personal videoconferencing tools can enhance remote employees’ communication and productivity. Video ties together disparate and often isolated workers by letting physical, visual nuances shine through.
An Executive Guide to Video CollaborationAvaya Inc.
In the past, video was dismissed as a costly and complex luxury that drained your network and IT resources, while offering limited return on investment. But with substantial reductions in cost and easier deployment, businesses can integrate high definition video - as easy to use as any consumer product - across the enterprise.
Iveda (OTCQB:IVDA) enables cloud video surveillance via its Sentir® data and video management platform, utilizing proprietary video streaming and Big Data storage technology. Iveda enables a recurring revenue model by global licensing of Sentir to service providers, already earning monthly recurring revenue from their customers, such as telcos, datacenter operators, ISPs, and cable companies.

Nearly everyone out there is misleading you about AV-over-IP. It’s not easy, it’s not lossless compression and it’s not going to happen overnight. But, it IS the future of AV signal distribution. There is no standard that everyone has adopted for sending AV signals (video, audio, control and power) over the network – there are multiple ways of doing it and none of the different options are interoperable. So, buyer and adopter beware.
Gary’s Kayye’s latest keynote will help guide the future of AV-over-IP as not only is he a respected AV technologist, but he’s help set the standards in signal routing before. So, both the manufacturers and the integrators will be listening to his opinions on this and which AV-over-IP “standard” he likes best.

Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms.
