VideoNotes: What is it about?
• It is a free web tool that allows students to take notes on a
video they are watching.
• The notes are synchronized with the video being watched.
• It is integrated into Google Drive, so students are able to
save their notes directly to their Drive account
• and access, edit, and work on them anytime they want.
• All the notes are time-stamped.

Potential uses of VideoNotes
• I believe this tool can be used in my ways in university courses, because
in many disciplines videos are already used as didactic materials.
• In disciplines specifically aimed at teaching foreign languages, videos
are a very common didactic resource in the learning process.
• Students could use this tool, for example, to make notes about the
words and expressions they did not understand.
• Later on, these notes could be brought to the teacher´s attention.
• And a discussion could follow in class to make those words and
expressions clear to all the students.
• The notes are time-stamped, so it is possible to directly see the scenes
in which these words and expressions are used.
