Carrer goals.pptx and their importance in real lifeartemacademy2
Career goals serve as a roadmap for individuals, guiding them toward achieving long-term professional aspirations and personal fulfillment. Establishing clear career goals enables professionals to focus their efforts on developing specific skills, gaining relevant experience, and making strategic decisions that align with their desired career trajectory. By setting both short-term and long-term objectives, individuals can systematically track their progress, make necessary adjustments, and stay motivated. Short-term goals often include acquiring new qualifications, mastering particular competencies, or securing a specific role, while long-term goals might encompass reaching executive positions, becoming industry experts, or launching entrepreneurial ventures.
Moreover, having well-defined career goals fosters a sense of purpose and direction, enhancing job satisfaction and overall productivity. It encourages continuous learning and adaptation, as professionals remain attuned to industry trends and evolving job market demands. Career goals also facilitate better time management and resource allocation, as individuals prioritize tasks and opportunities that advance their professional growth. In addition, articulating career goals can aid in networking and mentorship, as it allows individuals to communicate their aspirations clearly to potential mentors, colleagues, and employers, thereby opening doors to valuable guidance and support. Ultimately, career goals are integral to personal and professional development, driving individuals toward sustained success and fulfillment in their chosen fields.
1.) Introduction
Our Movement is not new; it is the same as it was for Freedom, Justice, and Equality since we were labeled as slaves. However, this movement at its core must entail economics.
2.) Historical Context
This is the same movement because none of the previous movements, such as boycotts, were ever completed. For some, maybe, but for the most part, it’s just a place to keep your stable until you’re ready to assimilate them into your system. The rest of the crabs are left in the world’s worst parts, begging for scraps.
3.) Economic Empowerment
Our Movement aims to show that it is indeed possible for the less fortunate to establish their economic system. Everyone else – Caucasian, Asian, Mexican, Israeli, Jews, etc. – has their systems, and they all set up and usurp money from the less fortunate. So, the less fortunate buy from every one of them, yet none of them buy from the less fortunate. Moreover, the less fortunate really don’t have anything to sell.
4.) Collaboration with Organizations
Our Movement will demonstrate how organizations such as the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, National Urban League, Black Lives Matter, and others can assist in creating a much more indestructible Black Wall Street.
5.) Vision for the Future
Our Movement will not settle for less than those who came before us and stopped before the rights were equal. The economy, jobs, healthcare, education, housing, incarceration – everything is unfair, and what isn’t is rigged for the less fortunate to fail, as evidenced in society.
6.) Call to Action
Our movement has started and implemented everything needed for the advancement of the economic system. There are positions for only those who understand the importance of this movement, as failure to address it will continue the degradation of the people deemed less fortunate.
No, this isn’t Noah’s Ark, nor am I a Prophet. I’m just a man who wrote a couple of books, created a magnificent website: http://www.thearkproject.llc, and who truly hopes to try and initiate a truly sustainable economic system for deprived people. We may not all have the same beliefs, but if our methods are tried, tested, and proven, we can come together and help others. My website: http://www.thearkproject.llc is very informative and considerably controversial. Please check it out, and if you are afraid, leave immediately; it’s no place for cowards. The last Prophet said: “Whoever among you sees an evil action, then let him change it with his hand [by taking action]; if he cannot, then with his tongue [by speaking out]; and if he cannot, then, with his heart – and that is the weakest of faith.” [Sahih Muslim] If we all, or even some of us, did this, there would be significant change. We are able to witness it on small and grand scales, for example, from climate control to business partnerships. I encourage, invite, and challenge you all to support me by visiting my website.

Why Psychological Safety Matters for Software Teams - ACE 2024 - Ben Linders.pdfBen Linders
Psychological safety in teams is important; team members must feel safe and able to communicate and collaborate effectively to deliver value. It’s also necessary to build long-lasting teams since things will happen and relationships will be strained.
But, how safe is a team? How can we determine if there are any factors that make the team unsafe or have an impact on the team’s culture?
In this mini-workshop, we’ll play games for psychological safety and team culture utilizing a deck of coaching cards, The Psychological Safety Cards. We will learn how to use gamification to gain a better understanding of what’s going on in teams. Individuals share what they have learned from working in teams, what has impacted the team’s safety and culture, and what has led to positive change.
Different game formats will be played in groups in parallel. Examples are an ice-breaker to get people talking about psychological safety, a constellation where people take positions about aspects of psychological safety in their team or organization, and collaborative card games where people work together to create an environment that fosters psychological safety.

Customers want to make sure you are competent. That you have their best interests in mind. That you are going to do right by them. That you are going to solve their problem in a timely manner at a fair price.
The growth of the internet has changed the game, forever.
There are so many different marketing channels available.
Let's talk about some of the misconceptions about video.
Everybody is talking about content marketing these days. Creating and distributing valuable, relevant and consistent content is the best way attract potential clients and generate more business. As you know, content is king. And video is the king of content!
Newly released footage of NFL player Rice attacking his fiance in an elevator has sparked an outcry over domestic abuse, privilege, and media ethics. His attack rendered his now wife, Janay Palmer, unconscious. The Ravens cut rice after this footage emerged.
Today people don’t have the time or the patience to read, but most are willing to spend time watching videos. Today, video is the best content to use to reach and connect with potential clients.
How about Michael Dubin of DollarShaveClub.com. In the first three months after the startup posted the clip on YouTube last March, it racked up 4.75 million views.
In the first 48 hours after the video debuted on YouTube, over 12,000 people signed up for the service. Aside from some Google ads, they have used no other marketing.
Search engine optimizing.
Quick story for you. Please raise your hand if you are an entrepreneur or business owner. You will appreciate this story.
So hand many of you have one of these? A website. So I use to own a digital signage company. It was a virtual business so I knew I had a to have a good looking website. I think I spent over $5,000 on my website.
We wait for the phone to ring. But just because we have a beautiful website isn’t enough. You have to get found or no one is going to know you exist. Right?
So one day my dad calls me and says, ”David, I did a search for your company on Google and I can’t find it”. I knew if my dad couldn’t find my website, then how were my potential customers going to find me. So long story short, I learned everything I could about search engine optimization. And I was able to optimize my website and got it to appear at the bottom of the 1st page of Google. But I noticed something else. Videos showing up in searches. So I decided to optimize the video and something amazing happened.
My video got ranked on the 1st page of Google and it was the very 1st link on the page.
Why is online important
Why is getting found on the 1st page of Google important?

Blendtec is known for its Will It Blend? viral marketing campaign, where Dickson blends different products, including iPods, iPhones, marbles, golf balls, remote controls and much more.
As a result of the campaign, retail sales increased by over 700%
In 2006 Gary Vaynerchuk started his daily video blog. Each show was watched by up to 90,000 viewers.
Turned his fathers small store into one of the highest-grossing independently owned wine and liquor retailers in the nation, with about $45 million in annual revenue.

On the other hand, by adding a video to your homepage you can double the amount of time a visitor will stay.
Most people won’t stay to read text, but more than 80% of new visitors will stay to watch a short video.

If you don’t have video you are missing out in getting found by the #2 search engine in the world. And guess what? Google owns YouTube.
Many people ask us why they should use video, when the real question is why aren’t they using video? There are many statistics about video. Here are just a few of the most significant.
Here are 5 mistakes people make about video.
Everybody thinks video is easy. We all have a HD camera in our pocket. I am sure you can appreciate it isn’t the camera that makes a cinematographer or editing software that makes someone an editor. These are just tools. It comes down to the person using them.
The problem is most people don’t know how much work goes into making a video or how much a video should cost. Many people see video as a commodity and simply shop based on price. As with any service each business is different and you want to find out what they include.
I came across the quote the other day. Where? The internet of course. And there is no better medium than video for storytelling.
80% of our buying decision is emotional and we use the remaining 20% to justify our purchase intellectually.
Just yesterday I hired a contractor to replace my air conditioning in my house.

Many people see video as a commodity and simply shop based on price. The problem is most people don’t know how much goes into making a video or how much a video should cost. There are 1 man production companies some good, some bad but they can’t do it all. You can find people who say they can do a video for $1,000 and people who say they can do a video for $10,000. Is the $10,000, 10x as good. Certainly could be possible. A potential client decided to shop based on price, found someone to do a video for $650. He figured if it was bad he would only be out $650. He just hired us last week.
I hear all the time, everyone’s videos look the same. This may in fact be true. How many movies have you gone to and walked out and said that sucked. You are talking about movies where 10’s of millions of dollars were spent. And almost every time, you know what the issue is? Not the quality of the picture. I am sure the special effects were amazing. The soundtrack was unbelievable. Even the actors were top notch. It was the story. Not everyone can tell a great story. This happens to be where we excel. My business partner has over 25 years of documentary filmmaking experience.
Many businesses are creating videos without a purpose or strategy behind it. Yeah, they want a video on their website because everyone is doing it but they don’t know what kind, how long or what story to tell. This is where we differ from almost everyone in the market. We take a strategic approach to provide our clients with results that address real business concerns and issues.
Video can be used through multiple marketing channels. It can be used on your website, social media, email marketing, a sales tool, training, products, blogs and so much more. No longer is video a business expense but an investment.
