HYPERTEXT
• Hypertext is text that links to other information.
By clicking on a link in a hypertext document,
a user can quickly jump to different content.
• Hypertexts are useful for checking out new sources
while reading a text.

HYPERMEDIA
• The term hypermedia takes its name from the sum of hypertext
and multimedia
• A hypermedia structure is the same as that of a hypertext
made up of nodes that are connected by links
• Refers to similar links to those used in the hypertext but instead
os simply linking text to text, it involves linking sound, and
photographs. • It gathers hypertext and multimedia • As
hypertext, hypermedia has lots of advantages for learners.

• Multimedia systems , in the sense of the term today , are basically
interactive systems with multiple codes.
• Multimedia literally means “multiple media” OR “ a combination of
media.”
