TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY
Introduction
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) is a leading cause of injury,
disability and death in the United States. It is a broad term
that encompasses concussion, closed head injury, and blast-
induced traumatic injury, which can cause different levels of
neurological and chemical imbalances in the brain leading to
temporary or permanent disability. The goal of these guidelines
is to standardize evaluation and goal-directed management
of TBI in a manner applicable to a broad spectrum of patients.
The protocol aims to categorize patients based on the severity
of their TBI; lower risk individuals can be managed by the
trauma team while higher risk patients require neurosurgery
consultation, although a neurosurgical consultation should
be obtained at any time at the discretion of the trauma team.
In severe TBI, the protocol is intended to standardize the
identification and directed management of patients that are at
risk for or have developed intracranial hypertension, in an
effort to improve neurologic outcome.

My role in the team was to do an in depth study of the bigger stronger market segment and understand
the psycho graphics that lead to their social media habits.
33. Key Insight & Opportunity
The market segments are actually four individual groups of people with psycho graphics that dictate
their social media habits. A deeper understanding of their individual characteristics would be crucial to
attract them and post content that increases engagement.
