Sustainable development refers to environmental, economic and socio-cultural aspects; not just mitigating negative impacts but pro-actively engaging with these areas with the full range of stakeholders, through a focus on corporate and sustainable responsibility initiatives. Given the high levels of mistrust in Haitian and Kenyan societies, this paper examines CSR initiatives in the tourism sector which could engage citizen diplomacy and increase transparency.
Not many academic papers have been adventurous enough to associate tourism development in black countries with other topics like peace, CSR, transparency and population engagement particularly in destinations like Kenya and Haiti where corruption and unequal distribution of wealth are almost part of the tradition. This paper contributes to the body of meta-literature by focusing on tourism as an economic activity can contribute to the reconciliation of the different classes but more importantly transcend the conception of the government being the oppressor.
Starting with some key concepts analysis, this article adopts a progressive approach successively presenting the studied destinations and then a comparative analysis. It seeks the answers one key question: To what extent CSR practices in tourism can bring peace in Kenya and Haiti? The objective is to discover if the impacts of CSR practices are the same in Kenya (the starting point) and Haiti (the extension point). In other words, is there any kind of dilution of the impacts of CSR practices the further you get from the starting point?
Methodologically, this article builds on academic critical literature on CSR practices and tourism development. This study is going to adopt a comparative and inductive approach.

Project Malawi Luton aims to empower communities in Malawi to lift themselves out of poverty within a generation. As the 3rd poorest country with high mortality and malnutrition rates, Malawi faces major threats. The project develops sustainable initiatives like fish farming, irrigation, and reforestation. It shares skills in areas like medicine, education, and infrastructure building. In 2010, the project visited many villages, conducted needs analyses, and invested in sustainable water projects that increased crop yields and provided clean water and food. In 2011, the goal is to set up a mobile clinic and educate communities to prevent illness.

Project Malawi Luton aims to empower communities in Malawi to lift themselves out of poverty within a generation. As the 3rd poorest country with high mortality and malnutrition rates, Malawi faces major threats. The project develops sustainable initiatives like fish farming, irrigation, and reforestation. It shares skills in areas like medicine, education, and infrastructure building. In 2010, the project visited many villages, conducted needs analyses, and invested in sustainable water projects that increased crop yields and provided clean water and food. In 2011, the goal is to set up a mobile clinic and educate communities to prevent illness.

The Citizens’ Movement to Revive the Spirit of Public Service
^ On July 4th, 2023, The Center for American Studies <www.concord- ium.us> launched WE THE PEOPLE: The Citizens’ Movement to Revive the Spirit of Public Service in Concord, Massachusetts, the crucible of the American Revolution, where the shot was fired “heard ‘round the world.”
The vision of The Citizens’ Movement to Revive the Spirit of Public Service was granted to Stuart-Sinclair Weeks north of Concord in Littleton, NH, on January 6TH and 7th, 2016 during New Hampshire’s primary season at the conclusion of a county political party meeting. At the time, Stuart-Sinclair was managing a NH gubernatorial campaign and had run Dennis Kucinich’s 2000 “First-in-the-Nation” presidential campaign. Stuart-Sinclair’s family had served for the last 9 generations in state or national office.
The Citizens’ Movement offers a response to George Washington’s resounding words from his Farewell Address: “... Let me now take a more comprehensive view and warn you in the most solemn manner against the baneful effects of the Spirit of Party.” Simply expressed, We the People have some catching up to do, a good two centuries and a quarter worth of catching up. The party/parties is/are over, we suggest, drawing to their fitful, divisive, and partisan end.
The purpose of the Citizens’ Movement is to work with progressive leaders in all of our existing parties to lay to rest, put out of its misery, give its last rites, and pay our respects to that divisive partisan spirit that seeks to divide and conquer us, our Dis-United States, that seeks to hold sway over our land.
The Citizens’ Movement to Revive the Spirit of Public Service encourages fellow citizens to step forward and assume the mantle of the Constitutional office to which they feel called. The offices we refer to range from president all the way up to local servants, public servants — in the spirit of Dr. King’s words: “Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.” Specifically, fellow citizens are called to step forward as standard (flag) bearers and placeholders on behalf of We, The People.
On Patriot’s Day, the 19th of April, 2023, “The Citizens’ Movement to Revive the Spirit of Public Service” was inaugurated at Concord’s historic Old North Bridge, with leaders and representatives of America’s major political parties.

In this paper we explain wat overwork is and the physical and mental health risks associated with it.
We then explore how overwork relates to system stability and inventory.
