So if we go back again and look at today’s workflow… all we’re doing is moving the portion in the middle and moving it to where designers and developers are using the SAME language. This language is XAML.This is where the power of Expression Studio comes in. The Designer does their initial mockups of the UI in Design, then adds a little interactivity in Blend, and because both of these products use XAML as their shared file format, the Developer is able to open the very same file in Visual Studio to add their code to make it a fully functional design.
