The document discusses predictions for the future of user experience design in 2030 based on current technological trends. It suggests that augmented reality, virtual reality, voice control and other interfaces will become major platforms, requiring new design skills. It also predicts that artificial intelligence will perform much of the design work, and that designers will need skills in coding, data analysis, systems design and business strategy to remain relevant. The document advises designers to continuously learn new skills, think beyond just design, and prepare for their role to evolve significantly over the next decade.
Digital Architecture - Modern Technologies in ArchitectureÇelik Nimani

Experience Design for the IoT | Tim Scanlon - 2016 Tongji Design Week Keynote Tim Scanlon
This is one of 2 presentations Tim Scanlon presented in Shanghai during the Fall of 2016. Every autumn, the Tongji University College of Design and Innovation organizes a small, highly interactive conference on design research and design education titled “Emerging Practices” (EPC). Since the first EPC in 2012, this has become an annual forum for debates on such themes as new practices, values, and approaches arising in design and design education; open design; influences on
developing practices; DesignX; and design activism. The main theme of EPC this year is “Design in Complexity.” It will continue and expand the conversation initiated by the DesignX Manifesto in 2014. This conversation developed further in a
two-day DesignX workshop hosted by Tongji University in 2015. The first DesignX Manifesto articulated the nature of working in and with complex sociotechnical systems, attempting to explore the framework for designers to address such issues. The follow-up DesignX workshop explored the
principles of working with such systems, highlighted the importance and difficulty of implementing solutions to DesignX problems. The workshop focused on several valuable cases. It sparked a lively discussion that we will continue this year

The 4 Biggest Trends In Big Data and Analytics Right For 2021Bernard Marr
Big Data is a term that’s come to be used to describe the technology and practice of working with data that’s not only large in volume but also fast and comes in many different forms. For every Elon Musk with a self-driving car to sell, or Jeff Bezos with a cashier-less convenience store, there is a sophisticated Big Data operation and an army of clever data scientists who’ve turned a vision into reality.

Considering the context of today’s society and its abundance of information, instant gratification is the status quo. Search engines are repositioning themselves to become “answer engines” rather than just “search engines” by efficiently providing users what they need. Artificial Intelligence (AI) will aid search engines to understand the human’s intent by identifying meaning associated with every search query. In this session, you will learn the most up-to-date trends for digital marketers to increase website visibility online, by creating a tailor-made search experience using AI.
What Are The Most In-Demand AI Skills?Bernard Marr
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is about teaching machines to learn and make decisions that can benefit organizations or society as a whole. But being able to deploy and implement it is dependent on an array of human skills. Here's my overview of the most essential of them.

Leveraging Data for the Internet of Things CLEVER°FRANKE

CLEVER°FRANKE Prototype Day 2018; the results of the 5 teams.
Demo videos here: https://vimeo.com/album/5485702
Every year, for one day, we challenge our teams to create a prototype using sensors and visualizing the output.
This year's theme was sports.
Cycleviz; A CLEVER°FRANKE design conceptCLEVER°FRANKE
Our team wanted to investigate how data could be used to enhance the experience of sporting events. Using professional cycling tours as an example, we developed a design concept for a sport analytics platform that could supplement the viewers experience and participation during live events. As a first step, we imagined an iPad app that would provide real-time tracking, performance information and statistics of the cyclists during the race.
At CLEVER°FRANKE, we focus on experimenting at the intersection of design and development, challenging ourselves with emerging technologies, acquiring knowledge, developing new techniques and nurturing our curiosity.
This prototype was an exploration into a better way to visually represent streams of energy and their consumption in the home. Our prototype uses image recognition to find appliances and with Augmented Reality, visually map streams of energy and display information on their consumption and the costs associated with their use.

Transforming Brand Perception and Boosting Profitabilityaaryangarg12
In today's digital era, the dynamics of brand perception, consumer behavior, and profitability have been profoundly reshaped by the synergy of branding, social media, and website design. This research paper investigates the transformative power of these elements in influencing how individuals perceive brands and products and how this transformation can be harnessed to drive sales and profitability for businesses.
Through an exploration of brand psychology and consumer behavior, this study sheds light on the intricate ways in which effective branding strategies, strategic social media engagement, and user-centric website design contribute to altering consumers' perceptions. We delve into the principles that underlie successful brand transformations, examining how visual identity, messaging, and storytelling can captivate and resonate with target audiences.
Methodologically, this research employs a comprehensive approach, combining qualitative and quantitative analyses. Real-world case studies illustrate the impact of branding, social media campaigns, and website redesigns on consumer perception, sales figures, and profitability. We assess the various metrics, including brand awareness, customer engagement, conversion rates, and revenue growth, to measure the effectiveness of these strategies.
The results underscore the pivotal role of cohesive branding, social media influence, and website usability in shaping positive brand perceptions, influencing consumer decisions, and ultimately bolstering sales and profitability. This paper provides actionable insights and strategic recommendations for businesses seeking to leverage branding, social media, and website design as potent tools to enhance their market position and financial success.
