Editor's Notes

  • #2 On behalf of NCDA, I am so pleased to be here. A little about me
  • #3 No question that technology has changed our lives, and the lives of our clients. Let’s take the example of food. From teaching us how to cook, advising us on the best restaurants, to engineering our food, and fighting poverty through policy by food access programs, technology has clearly infiltrated our lives in ways we never could have imagined.
  • #4 With respect to service delivery- but it’s no longer whether we will use technology
  • #5 But wading through the options…
  • #6 All of these options
  • #7 leaving us overwhelmed.
  • #8 Do you feel the stress of the storm?
  • #9 Calm to chaos by putting down some anchors in this raging sea, upon which we can reflect upon these options.
  • #10 So let’s start at the beginning. Agree? A little vague, though, right?
  • #11 That’s very specific, and gives us those anchors upon which we can organize technological tools. Do you already see some connections between what we do and technologies out there? Quickly – let’s go down the list and hear some tools you think of immediately for each one. My work here is done. 
