We can use even to express surprising extremes. Usually
‘even’ takes ‘mid-position’.

He has lost all his belongings. He has even lost all his books.
Ramesh is bad-mannered to everybody. He is even rude to his
parents.

At times we use a verb after ‘even’

He does lot of work. He even cleans the utensils.
They do everything together. They even brush their teeth
together.

Whenever we want to emphasize, ‘even’ may take other
position.
Anybody can do this. Even a child can do it.
He eats anything. Even raw potatoes.

We use ‘not even’ to say that we are surprised because
something has not happened, is not there etc.
He can’t even do simple calculations.
I haven’t telephoned to anybody for months. Not even my
parents.

Even so means ‘however’.
She seems pretty. Even so, I don’t really like her.
