Treatment
Beta Lactams
Amoxicillin + Clavulanic Acid (1g)
Amoclan
• Injectible
• Oral can be taken
• Syrup
• 1:2 daily (dosage)
Cephalosporins
Cefuroxime (650mg)(500mg)
(Second generation)
Ceftriaxone (1g)(500mg)
(Third generation)
• Injectible
• Oral can be taken
• 2-3 daily (7-10 days)
• Is the drug of choice
for E. coli
• Injectible
• 1-2 daily (7-10 days)
Prevention
1. Stay away from sexual activates during infecting
with UTI
2. Clean your self after toileting
3. Avoid energy drinks
4. Drink plenty of liquids (water)
