URINARY SYSTEM
ARF= ACUTE RENAL FAILURE Inability of the kidneys to filter wastes from the blood  Resulting in uremia; may be acute or chronic; major Reason for a patient being placed on dialysis.
ESRD= END-STAGE RENAL DISEASE The complete or almost complete failure for the  Kidney to function.  The main function of the kidneys Is to remove wastes and excess water from the body.
HD= HEMODIALYSIS In medicine, hemodialysis is a method for removing waste  Products such as creantine and urea, as well as free water from The blood when the kidney are in renal failure.  Hemodialysis Is one of three renal replacement therapies (the other two being Renal transplant; peritoneal dialysis).
KUB= KIDNEY URETER, BLADDER In medicine, KUB refers to a diagnostic medical imaging Technique of the abdomen.  It is a plain frontal supine Radiograph of the abdomen.
A UTI is an infection anywhere in the urinary tract. Your urinary tract includes the organs that collect  urine and release it from your body They are the kidneys ureters bladder prostate (in men) urethra Kidneys. Your kidneys collect wastes and extra water from your blood to make urine Ureters. The ureters carry the urine from your kidneys to your bladder. Bladder. Your bladder stores the urine and squeezes it out when full. Prostate. The prostate adds fluid to semen. Urethra. The urethra carries the urine out of your bladder when you urinate.
