This document describes a wireless monitoring system for an oil and gas wellhead. Wireless transmitters located throughout the production facility transmit levels, pressures, discrete values and temperatures to a wireless base unit. The base unit then transmits this data via serial Modbus RTU to an ABB control system. Digital outputs from the base unit are configured to open or close a sales valve based on process variables, providing high and high-high level alarm protection for the separator.
