Summary of Experiences : From July 2015 till to date
Senior Manager, Financial Services Division,
Rural Capital Sdn Bhd
Responsible for the establishment and transforming process
Of Rural Capital Sdn Bhd to Rural Bank by developing the
operational and overall functions of the company to a
banking outfit in compliance to the Regulatory requirements.
The process include the establishment of credit policies,
product policies, procedures for the overall credit process
together with documentations, credit evaluation policy and
manual risk management policy and procedures, regional
and branch management manual and corporate
communication manual. In the area of information technology
the process require the establishment process of core
banking system, credit rating system and credit scoring to
support the daily operations.
The process does involved the establishment of human
resources functions such as development of job description,
manpower planning and strategic planning for the business
and operational units.
I had and will utilised my past experience skills and
knowledge for the establishment process of Rural Bank by
involvement in the overall establishment such as Feasibility
Study, Environmental Screening and planning to structural
process of the Rural Bank.
Currently responsible for overall management of thirteen (13)
branches with five (5) Regional Offices. The responsibilities
includes marketing, sales, operations, credit administration
and general administration of the business units.
In the current operations I had directly responsible for
managing all branches by generating total financing
disbursed for RM 600 million in 2015.
From September 2012 to July 2015
Head/ Manager, Credit Evaluation at Centre for
Entrepreneur Development and Research (CEDAR)
at SME Bank
Head of Training and Head Credit Evaluation at CEDAR
which is responsible for the training and entrepreneur
development for start up business from the idealization of
business until the business is fully operational. Responsible
for training, coaching and improvise of the business ideas
until it’s become a fully commercialized business entity.
Followings are list of responsibility at CEDAR:-
• Responsible for conducting of training for staff and
clients of the Bank together with other government
agencies. The training are for Program Inkubator
Usahawan Siswazah (PIUS), Skim Pembiayaan
Ekonomi Desa (SPED), SME Graduate Training
Program and other related training whenever
required.
• Conducting the pre screening for loan application
receipts under Tabung Usahwan Siswazah (TUS).
This fund is from the training of Program Inkubator
Usahawan Siswazah (PIUS).
• Involved in developed the training module and
contents for Program Inkubator Usahawan Siswazah
(PIUS), Skim Pembiayaan Ekonomi Desa (SPED),
SME Graduate Training Program and other related
training modules whenever required.
• Involved in developed the training modules and
contents for Certificate of Islamic Banking and
Finance (CIBF) with collaboration with Universiti
Islam Antarabangsa (UIA).
• Responsible for the administration functions for all
the training and consultancy requirements.
• To liaise with Universiti Islam Antarabangsa (UIA),
Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Teknologi
Mara (UiTM), Universiti Tun Abdul Razak
(UNIRAZAK), ADAFIAP, Frankfurt School of Finance
and Management, Entrepreneur Development
Institute of India (EDI) on the collaboration in the
area of training, consultancy and research projects
for CEDAR.
Credit Approval at SME Bank since 2007 until 2012
Five (5) years experience in performing credit evaluation by
reviewing provides value added comments in aspects of risk
criteria on financial evaluation, market and industry, technical
and management. Acquired reasonable knowledge and skills
for the SMEs financing application from start up until large
SMEs. Able to identify the risk associated to various type of
risk in relevant industry and different types of business
entities.
Credit Risk/Portfolio Risk Management at SME
Bank from 2007 to 2012
Five (5) years experiences in managing and performing risk
management functions which include preparation of credit
risk/credit evaluation report, performing credit rating by way
of Credit Rating System (CRS) and Credit Risk Score Card
(CRSC),involved in implementation of Enterprise Risk
Management (ERM), preparation and supervising of portfolio
report and presentation to Risk Management Committee
(RMC), preparation and presentation of bank subsector and
prudential lending limits, updating and preparation of Bank
Negara Malaysia status for credit risk guidelines and
procedures and also conduction risk migration and back
testing exercise for SME business entities.
Directly responsible for managing and reviewing the
Composite Risk Rating (CRR) for SME Bank.
Credit Processing and Review, Credit Evaluation,
Credit Marketing, Credit Control, Recovery and
Litigation, Rehabilitation, Finance and Accounting,
Branch Operations Branch Supervision and
Compliance, Marketing ,Banking Operations, at
BBMB Kewangan, Bumiputra Commerce Bank
Berhad, Affin Bank Berhad and Malaysian Building
Society Berhad (MBSB).
Credit Control/ Processing/Recovery
Eight (8) years progressively responsible experience in
banking which cover the area of credit processing, credit
administration and disbursement, credit renewal and loan
review, documentation, loan collection and monitoring, loan
rehabilitation, restructuring and rescheduling, credit control,
litigation and recovery, loss on disposal for all types of
corporate loans, commercial, SME loans and syndicated
infrastructure loans, consumer loans ( both Islamic and
conventional) such as hire purchase (inclusive of
repossession ,loss on disposal and written off account),
mortgage and housing loan, leasing, unit trust, fixed term
loan, share margin financing, new share issue loans,
personal and unsecured loans
Finance and Accounting
Seven (7) year’s experiences in operational and
administration matter for branch financial statement which
includes general ledger, trial balance, profit and loss, balance
sheet, yearly budgeting, accounts payable and others related
accounting matter. Directly involved in accounting, financial
statement and finance functions.
Marketing
Eight (8) years experience in marketing for financial
services product especially for housing loans, term loans,
share financing, hire purchase, leasing ,personal loan,
commercial and SME loans and financing, unit trusts and
others loan. Involve in marketing of all types of loans and
financing through the respective marketing mechanism.
Credit Administration
Seven (7) years experiences in credit
administration functions of financial products such as
disbursement of loans, documentation for collateral, attached
and detachment of collateral, collection and controlling
movement of security documents, creation of security
documents, administration on litigation accounts, insurance,
discharge of settled loans and others administration functions
for all types of banking products.
Banking Operations
Eight (8) years’ experience in operational matter for
banking services such as saving accounts, current account,
remittance, fixed deposit, unit trust and other banking
products. Has gain fair and reasonable knowledge on the
above product services and able to perform operational
aspects with minimum level of supervision.
Supervision and Compliance, Internal Audit/Control
Three (3) years experiences in conducting compliance visit
at Branches to review the operations, credit, loan processing,
marketing, accounting, loan documentation, cash handling
and all aspect of banks credit and operations. Prepare the
compliance report from the visit for management review and
recommendations.
Review Branches Audit Report on audit findings and provide
necessary reply with details explanation together with sample
supporting documents. This is before the tabling of Audit
Report to Audit and Risk Management Committee (ARMCO)
Meeting.
Involved in investigations and prosecution matter for
operations and credit matter.
Core Banking System Development and
Implementation
Three (3) years experiences in development on the new
ICBA Core Banking System. Involved directly in User
Acceptance Test (UAT), preparation of test sampling,
Operational Readiness Test (ORT) and provide required
feedback according to the Banking Standard Practice.
Directly managed the Helpdesk Section prior to the post
implementation process of the system in ensuring that the
system perform effective and efficiently. Directly involved
with IT Functions of MBSB in ensuring smooth system
implementation. Successfully achieved the life system
implementation for the benefit of MBSB.
Training
Five (5) years experiences in training for entrepreneur and
banks staff. This cover the areas from preparation of training
material from the practical and system aspects of MBSB core
banking System for ICBA 9i. Conduct full training for the core
banking system and operations which involved and covered
area from customer information file (CIF), collateral, credit
application, loan processing and approval, credit
administration, disbursement, monitoring and collection,
banking operations, credit operational, credit, loan
application and processing, loan documentation, cash and
day end balancing, Working directly with the consultant and
system vendor for the pre and post implementation process
of the system.
Nearly three (3) years experiences in conducting training
in the area of accounting, finance, risk management, credit
rating system and credit courses at SME Bank for staff.
Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism
Financing
Two (2) years experience in managing the AMLA
requirement while conducting Training for AMLA and Counter
Terrorism Financing. Responsible for the introduction,
operations, management and reporting of AMLA for MBSB.
Liaise directly with the relevant authorities such as Polis Di
Raja Malaysia, Bank Negara Malaysia and others for AMLA
cases.
Operational Risk
Involved in operational risk area for business continuity
process, proposed development of enterprise risk
management framework, conducting of post mortem report,
prepare operational risk register and others risk related
matter for small medium enterprise and small medium
industries.
Directly involved in the introduction and establishment of
Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) for the SME Bank in
the area of Credit.
Customers Service and Communications
Experiences
Extensive customer’s service experience with
external parties in order to ensure that workflow process and
requirements is smoothly conducts. Able to interact with all
level of peoples and able to demonstrate good interpersonal

Financing / Loan Portfolio and number of staffs
under direct Supervision:-
At BBMB Kewangan Berhad and Bumiputera
Commerce Bank/ Finance Berhad.
• Managed total staff of 17 (including 7 officers):
management of overall function of the above department
with total loans outstanding of RM680.00 million (total no
of 2,300 accounts).
Head of Credit At Affin Bank Berhad.
• Managed the Credit Department with the staff strength of
Six (6) Executives and Six (6) Clerical Staff. Total
Outstanding Loans and Advances were at RM 960.00
million.
Assistant Manager Branch Supervision and
Compliance At Malaysia Building Society Berhad
(MBSB).
• Perform the branch supervision and compliance,
operational management, staff training, information
system management, ICBA System Training while
improving the internal control function for all 23
branches nationwide with staff strength of 345
people. This functions as to ensure effective branch
administration and compliance from the operation,
accounting, credit processing, marketing, litigation,
finance, credit control , litigation, rehabilitation and all
others aspect of banking as per the organization
policies and procedures.

Summary of Experiences : From July 2015 till to date Senior Manager, Financial Services Division, Rural Capital Sdn Bhd Responsible for the establishment and transforming process Of Rural Capital Sdn Bhd to Rural Bank by developing the operational and overall functions of the company to a banking outfit in compliance to the Regulatory requirements. In the area of information technology the process require the establishment process of core banking system, credit rating system and credit scoring to support the daily operations. The process does involved the establishment of human resources functions such as development of job description, manpower planning and strategic planning for the business and operational units. I had and will utilised my past experience skills and knowledge for the establishment process of Rural Bank by involvement in the overall establishment such as Feasibility Study, Environmental Screening and planning to structural process of the Rural Bank. Currently responsible for overall management of thirteen (13) branches with five (5) Regional Offices. The responsibilities

In the current operations I had directly responsible for managing all branches by generating total financing disbursed for RM 600 million in 2015. Followings are list of responsibility at CEDAR:- • Responsible for conducting of training for staff and clients of the Bank together with other government agencies. The training are for Program Inkubator Usahawan Siswazah (PIUS), Skim Pembiayaan Ekonomi Desa (SPED), SME Graduate Training Program and other related training whenever required. • Conducting the pre screening for loan application receipts under Tabung Usahwan Siswazah (TUS).
