To utilize my knowledge as a Credit Risk Analyst, a Masters in Business Administration and a finance major, along
with my managerial skills, to keep honing my professional skills and grow in the corporate world.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Credit Risk Analyst at Credit Division, Head Office, Habib Metro Bank- August 2016- present
 To conduct pre-disbursement credit risk analysis of bank’s credit portfolio.
 Conduct comprehensive Credit and Financial Risk Analysis of borrowers availing credit facilities
through quantitative and qualitative analysis of credit applications for fresh/ enhancement/ revision/
annual review etc and ensure all requirements for Risk Management are intact with statutory
regulations (SBP Prudential Regulations) and other regulatory requirements.
 Coordinate with Business unit for ideal structuring of credit limits by identifying borrowers’ financing
needs and structure the credit facilities accordingly.
 Prepare comprehensive Credit Risk Evaluation of borrowers covering financial & cash flow analysis,
projections, key ratio analysis, security breakdown analysis, facility structure risk and others in order
to mitigate the risk and maximize the return with specialization to Credit Risk mitigation for Working
Capital and Trade Finance facilities.
 Keep abreast of the current economic scenario, industry trends, dynamics of key industries and
regulations and policies impacting trade and industry through regular and intense research.
Credit Officer/ Relationship Associate at Habib Metro Bank- April 2016- present
 Develop and maintain customer relationship as a credit officer by resolving end to end customer
queries and banking issues.
 Perform critical financial analysis of customers on a regular basis to ascertain the credit lines and
facilities provided to the clients.
 Preparation of credit proposals based on the analysis for renewal, enhancement and provision of fresh
credit facilities against sound security structure based on valuation of said securities.
 Work on issuance of letters of guarantees for the customers in order to ensure fulfillment of
performance to the creditor.
 Liaison with various departments in the bank to ensure timely and efficient resolution of customers’
issues and queries.
 Calculate and recover markup and commissions on various facilities in use by the customer.
Management of stock positions and insurance policies currently in use by customers and provide
assistance accordingly.
 Conduct monthly and annual reporting to the State Bank of Pakistan of the exports routed through the
bank’s counters.
 Worked on Export Refinance (ERF) scheme offer by SBP for it to be availed by the customers.
Management Trainee Credit- Habib Metro Bank- September 2015 to March 2016
 Underwent extensive training in all fields of banking with emphasis on credit banking.
 Attended training sessions relating to foreign trade and exports and imports regulations and
mechanisms used in the trade functions and facilities mentioned.
 Experienced firsthand trade and credit functions in the commercial and corporate divisions of the bank
during the Management Trainee tenure.
 Trained in treasury and investments functions of the bank to get an understanding of the money
markets, capital markets, foreign exchange markets and syndicate financing.

Shell Pakistan – February to August 2013

appraising a wind power project financially.

with their financial statements sample to evaluate the investment potential of the company.
 Conducted a working capital analysis by comparing the top three competitors in the automotive sector
in Pakistan to analyze their performance and assess investment potential of each.
 Researched impact of packaging on the behavior of consumers by conducting survey from the target
consumers.
 Conducted a research on the effect of smoking on the productivity of employees in a sales
organization, with SBT Japan as sample.
SOCIETAL & EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
 Member of the organizing committee in the successful workshops IGNITE 2011 and ASPIRE 2012,
professional workshops intended to bridge the gap between corporate world and students.
 Participated actively in the I Clean Karachi Drive, a societal endeavor by then mayor of Karachi.
