RegisterundefinedThis assignment is the second step in your Informatics Project. Please
refer to the project outline and instructions provided in week 1:undefinedThe purpose of
the Stakeholder Register worksheet is to discover who the key players will be for your
project. If you are currently working in the clinical setting, you may use names and roles of
those in your workplace. However, if you do not have an current organization to refer to,
utilize common roles and titles of people who work in a healthcare organization – you may
“make-up” the actual names for this assignment. Access the Stakeholder Register Worksheet
document. Fully complete all text boxes, include scholarly references if appropriate,
utilizing resources provided in the project outline and instructions document. Unit 4 in your
textbook focuses on informatics project management and is also a great resource.Attached
is the work sheet to be filled out, I also provided the first part of the project from last week
where you will get some of the information from, and I also attached the assignment
instructions.Remember this assignment is focused on the stakeholder portion and not the
entire project.ORDER NOW FOR CUSTOMIZED, PLAGIARISM-FREE PAPERSStakeholder

Healthcare Informatics Project This project is designed to meet Course Outcomes: • • • • • •
Use information technology and research methods appropriately to: a. Collect data for the
generation of evidence for nursing practice b. Access and utilize electronic databases
designed for advanced nursing practice c. Design an evidence-based intervention that is
informatics specific d. Predict and analyze outcomes e. Identify gaps in evidence for practice
Demonstrate the abilities needed to develop and execute an evaluation plan from practice
resources r/t information systems and databases. Analyze and communicate critical
2. elements necessary to the selection, use, and evaluation of healthcare information systems
and patient care technology. Integrate appropriate technologies to improve healthcare
Demonstrate information literacy skill in complex decision making Use technology systems
that capture data on variables for the evaluation of nursing care Purpose of this project As
future leaders in healthcare, DNP students will need to understand not only informatics, but
also program management and leadership. UoA Health Informatics Stakeholder RegisterFor
this project, students will connect informatics to a health outcome then develop a plan to
improve this health outcome through the use of information systems and technology.
Professional Interview As part of this project, you will be required to conduct 2 interviews
1. Someone who works in healthcare informatics at a local hospital or outpatient facility 2.
Someone who is in a leadership position and has experience with informatics program
management (Quality Improvement, Education, Informatics, Senior Leadership) Your
interview should include questions that relate to your project topic and how best to
(theoretically) implement you project as well as general questions about their organizations
current use of information systems and patient care technology. Examples of possible
questions: • • • • • • • • How did they choose their current systems? What disciplines were
part of the project management team when the system was implemented or updated? How
long did it take to fully implement or update the system? What challenges did they face
when implementing/updating their current systems? Would they do anything different?
How do they use their current systems to improve health outcomes? What were some of the
risks and how did they mitigate those risks? How do they encourage patient engagement?
What types of data to they collect from their EMRs or other information systems? Project
Instructions You are a member of a committee and have been designated the leader of a
sub-committee tasked with developing a program that will use information systems and/or
patient care technology to improve a specific health outcome. You may choose a topic or
health outcome that interests you or is connected to your DNP project. Topic examples: • • •
• • • • • • Integrating eHealth technology into the current health information system (HIS)
used at the local hospital. The goal is to decrease readmission rate for (CHF, diabetes,
mental health). Implementing a new patient portal that connects the outpatient services
with inpatient services and improves patient engagement. o Preventing a “digital disparity”
may also be included or a focus of this project Modifying the current EHR to improve
medication reconciliation as well as patient education with the goal of improved medication
management for patients with chronic health issues Using HIS or patient care technology to
improve care to patients with multiple chronic conditions Using technology to manage
patient populations with chronic diseases. The goal is to decrease the fragmentation and
variation in care and resource constraints. o UoA Health Informatics Stakeholder
RegisterDigital approach to care delivery that enables clinical decision-making via guided
navigators based on algorithms and artificial intelligence (AI) Using artificial intelligence
and machine learning to improve clinical workflow or to analyze and utilize patient data to
improve delivery of care Migrating the EHR to a cloud service, connecting multiple hospital
campuses or outpatient services to improve patient care Integrating a digital paper
communication board into the current EMR/HER system to improve communication and
workflow while reducing medical errors. Integrating value sets into the HER to improve
3. patient outcomes for a specific health issue Use a current or former clinical occupation site
or facility as a template for the health facility site of your project. You may have some
creative liberty when filling in some of the required details. However, the goal is to be as
realistic as possible. While this project will be theoretical, you will use interviews to help
connect your project conception to a real-life clinical environment. While 2 interviews are
required, you may conduct as many as needed to assist with your project. The assignments
related to this project will be staggered throughout the course with the final assignment
being a voiceover PowerPoint presentation. Your audience for the presentation is the senior
leadership of the health system who will make the final decision about implementing your
proposed program. You will submit your presentation to the Week 10 discussion thread as
well as submit it for grading. Project Resources Textbook: Nelson, R. & Staggers, N. (2018).
