Professional Experience Programme
• 6 month graduate internship scheme for Ulster graduates (only those
graduating Summer 2013 are eligible)
• 35 internship opportunities across NI across disciplines
• Participants get a £5k bursary over the 6 months internship period
• Employers pay £3k
• Participants complete a Graduate Certificate in Professional Practice (4
modules, mainly online)
• Internships commence mid September 2013
• Strong track record of progression from internship to permanent graduate
employment
3. Graduate Internships
Santander supported 3 month Internships
• 3 month internships June-August
• Participants receive £1000 per month June, July, August
• Employers are local SMEs
• Application deadline is 10th April

to view/apply for Santander supported Internships
2. Update CV & Covering letter
3. Apply via PACE-MyInternships
7. Important points
• Your CV needs to be as good as it can be, use the
Career Development Centre
• These are excellent opportunities to get your foot in
the door
• You can apply for both 3 and 6 month internships if
you want
• More opportunities will be on the system between
now and June
