(approximately $54) to each of the plaintiffs, a small group of subscribers of the
Yahoo!BB broadband Internet service, who sued for compensation for the emotional
distress that they suffered in connection with the massive security breach that
occurred in early 2004. In this incident, a former temporary employee at
Softbank BB gave partners a user name and password he had been using when he
was working for
Softbank BB to access the company computer systems remotely, and the personal
information of at least 4.6 million customers of the Yahoo!BB service was accessed
and used in an effort to extort approximately 2 billion yen from Softbank.
This case is the first private lawsuit to be filed in connection with this incident. Claims

Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio teamed up in 2006 to bring the world the
organized crime masterpiece, The Departed. The film was a huge success and
swept the major awards at the Oscars that year, bring home such prizes as best
picture and best director. The win cemented Scorsese as the greatest living filmmaker
and he finally got the respect he deserves from the Academy. DiCaprio is one of the
best actors of his generation. Titanic, The Aviator, and The Departedareall the
evidence needed to securely place him in the upper pantheon of great actors.
Expecting a quality movie from either of these two artist is like expecting to get wet
by jumping in a pool. When word first broke that the two would be teaming up ...
The script is a very powerful character study exploring what it means to be insane
and unraveling our very concepts of reality. Shutter Island is absolutely gorgeous.
The film is definitely Scorsese s most visually rich work since Raging Bull. The
cinematography perfectly mirrors the tone of the story and is one of the strongest
points of the film. The establishing shots are breath taking. They create of the
feeling of grander and adventure with an undertone of mystery and the unknown.
The environment Scorsese creates makes the viewer s skin crawl as effectively as
fingernails on the chalkboard. The score perfectly translates what is going on and
further engraves the overall emotion of mystery and uncertainty into the audiences
souls. The dream and hallucination sequences are a treat to the eyes and are some
of the most striking every put on celluloid. Most of the time when a film tries to do
one of these scenes they appear poorly executed and take away from the story. That is
not the case with Shutter Island as theses scenes provide a great story telling
technique. They create a haunting feeling that mirrored to the suspense in reality.
Where Scorsese falters is in the transition between reality and the nightmare world
only found in Teddy s psyche. The switches feel very clunky at times and bring the
effect down. The audience can almost always tell what is real and what is a

A supercontinent, known as Pangea, was formed by the aggregation of all the world
s landmasses in the Late Triassic Early Jurassic. This concept of a supercontinent was
originally proposed by Alfred Wegener (Wegener, 1915). He suggested that all
continents assembled into a single supercontinent, approximately 300 million years
ago, and then according to the theory of plate tectonics, began to break apart 175
million years ago (Rogers et al., 2004) Immense geologic and geophysical evidence
have been presented, by Wegener and others, to support this theory for the Late
Triassic Early Jurassic. However when analyzing the paleomagnetic data for the Late
Paleozoic time, inconsistencies are present which suggest a very different Pangea
construction. These inconsistencies are seen in Late Paleozoic paleomagnetic data
apparent polar wander paths (APWPs) for Laurussia and Gondwana. To fit Wegner s
Pangea reconstruction, the APWPs suggest a substantial crustal overlap and shearing
(Domeier et al., 2012). This paper looks to review proposed alternative
reconstructions for Pangea, using paleomagnetic data as the quantifiable method for
determining the supercontinent s location.

The scene that I will be discussing for this paper is called He s a spy from the
movie Young Guns. In this scene, Billy and his gang are confronted by Murphy s
men. With the mise en scene, this helps the viewer identify that the time period
being portrayed here is the late 1870 s or the early 1880 s. The mise en scene being
used for this movie is important in telling the story from a different era as in today
s world, no one dresses this way anymore. Also to include from this scene is the
lighting. I will attempt to give an explicit description of the use of the lighting and
the sun and how the cinematographer designed for the use of it. Furthermore, I will

In 1961, Dad recognized that Betsy s high school graduation presented an
opportunity for the whole family to convene on the East coast for the summer. I was

completing first grade, but my other sister, Deborah, was only one at the time, and I

years with greater accuracy. Each diary covers a five year span. The leather bound

responding one must try and change the topic without losing the listeners focus. One

cannot speak if no one is listening, without a listener there would be no need for a
speaker. Listening is a skill that takes a long time to develop and to really

said?. One way to make a listener s job easier is to have a speaker who is clear and
brief. This way the listener won t drift away and the speaker has stated his or her
point. This way the listener has understood what has been said and can make his or

employees. Markus Persson, Jens Bergensten, Daniel Kaplan, Junkboy, Jakob
Porser, Carl Manneh, Tobias Mollstam, Aron Neiminen, Daniel Frisk, and Daniel
Rosenfeld. These few people make up the team that continues to work towards
Minecraft s future. But with so few employees things take time. Even though the
game has not been officially released, people who buy the game get a copy of what
it is right now as the updates are being pushed out. With such success Mojang is
the target of some heavy criticism from blogs, critics, and even their own fans. One
speculation from fans is that Minecraft will be the company s 1 hit wonder. What
happens if it truly is a one hit wonder? Will the company go down under? Will it be
the end of Mojang? Will they join a publisher in order to stay afloat and lose their
