It will assess the content based on whether the writer included recurring patterns in multiple contexts, vivid unexpected details, and clarified the theme through patterns. It will also assess mechanics based on sentence structure intention demonstrated through techniques, and grammar/punctuation accuracy. The essay will be graded as needing work, adequate, or excellent in these areas.
