This document outlines a 5-day lesson plan for teaching 8th grade math students about linear functions. The class has 25 students from various backgrounds who will create math booklets, YouTube videos, podcasts, and games to demonstrate their understanding of solving, interpreting, and graphing linear functions with 95% accuracy.  My 8th grade math class has 25
students, 13 girls and 12 boys; 2 African
American, 4 Hispanic, and 17
Caucasian. All of which have no learning
disabilities, speak English, and have an
understanding of pre-algebra.

 Students will solve, interpret and graph
linear functions through games,
YouTube videos, booklets, and Podcasts
within 5 days with 95% accuracy.

 Day 1- Creation of personal math
booklets
 Day 2- Student-created YouTube videos
solving linear equations algebraically
and graphically.
 Day 3- Students create a story where
fictional people need to learn linear
functions, which is told through a
Podcast.
