view the hotel’s facilities and get an

they book it. This is more beneficial as
people can get more in-depth

explore all the facilities before making
their final decision.

can investigate. From the 3 that we can
see it gives them reasons as to why
they should book with TUI or places
people can fly to from a specific
location. It gives them ideas for their
next holidays. It also provides all the
information someone may need while
deciding where to and who with to
book their holiday.

views while having lunch. It makes
people miss that view and want to go
on vacation so they will start looking
into different holidays with TUI, as they
have been reminded of the holiday
feeling.

These two apps are available on the
App and Google Stores. On the TUI app,
people can see their holiday itinerary,
from their flights to the hotel to bus
transfers to boarding passes. It is all
there in one place. While the TUI Blue
app shows the specific hotel and allows
the viewer to see what is going on
around the hotel that day, where the
restaurants and bars are (and the
opening times), and any questions they
have they can post to find out more
information before their trip.

with the current trend that is going
around now. People see it and instantly

witty and funny captions. Seeing the
current trend being used makes the

realizing who posted it.

Script for Video Pitch
■ Hello. My name is Daria and today I will be talking about content marketing,
specifically targeted around travel-related websites and companies. I will be
comparing the types of content marketing and what in my opinion is the most
effective.
■ To start off I will be speaking about the use of humour in posts. On social
media like Tik Tok where it is all very fast-paced and a lot of quick-wit
humour, seeing a post from a brand joining in with current trends makes it
more relatable and sometimes surprising, in a good way. I will use the Ryanair
Tik Tok for this example. The incorporating of a current trend of John Cena
dancing along to some music, along with a funny and witty caption “I wasn’t
asking, I was telling you” makes it so much more relatable to this generation
who are working towards their holiday. It makes them remember that and
think about Ryanair when booking their next holiday.
Script for Video Pitch
■ The next content marketing strategy is guide videos. These can be simple and
quick videos demonstrating how to use their app to check in for your flight,
just like the Ryanair video. Or they can be more in-depth, longer videos
showing people around resorts just so they can exactly see what the hotel they
are booking is offering. In my opinion, the longer guide video of the hotel was
really helpful when booking our holiday as we could see and know what to
expect beforehand. It also helped with making the decision as it was nicer to
see the hotel in not just pictures.
■ Thirdly, the use of phone apps. Everyone nowadays is glued to their phones
and has their phone on them at all times. Having something simple as what
time the breakfast, lunch and dinner times are, and what activities are on that
day and night will allow guests to see and plan their evening accordingly,
without having to leave their sunbeds. As well as having your whole trip
itinerary in one place allows you to have and see all the information you need
in one place.

■ Last but not least, podcasts. Podcasts are an easy way to absorb and listen to
information all while getting on with your daily tasks. Listening to someone
describe what attractions are available, about the weather and many other
things. If you don’t like the sound of something skipping to another place, or
episode, is as easy as ever.
■ Now these were the best content marketing techniques in my opinion because
it all follows a sequence from when you first see the brand on social media, to
looking at videos of specific hotels or listening to podcasts to help you decide
where to go, to actually booking your holiday and getting everything ready to
go. It gets you excited and really looking forward to your well-deserved time
off.

Example 1, Social Media, TUI: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ye mU_Ag4yOU This is a video that shows a tour of a hotel in Greece, it allows customers to view the hotel’s facilities and get an idea of what the hotel looks like before they book it. This is more beneficial as people can get more in-depth information about their hotel and explore all the facilities before making their final decision.

It also allows for a quick and smaller chunk of information that people can then further research into.

From the 3 that we can see it gives them reasons as to why they should book with TUI or places people can fly to from a specific location. It gives them ideas for their next holidays. It also provides all the information someone may need while deciding where to and who with to book their holiday.

It makes people miss that view and want to go on vacation so they will start looking into different holidays with TUI, as they have been reminded of the holiday feeling.
  • 7. Example 5, TUI: TUI and TUI Blue App These two apps are available on the App and Google Stores. On the TUI app, people can see their holiday itinerary, from their flights to the hotel to bus transfers to boarding passes. It is all there in one place. While the TUI Blue app shows the specific hotel and allows the viewer to see what is going on around the hotel that day, where the restaurants and bars are (and the opening times), and any questions they have they can post to find out more information before their trip.

Seeing the current trend being used makes the content a lot funnier without even realizing who posted it.

It shows step by step on how to check in online through the app. Some people may struggle with it as it's only been introduced over the last few years, so a handy guide will help people a lot, knowing they are fully ready for their holiday.

  • 22. Script for Video Pitch ■ Hello. My name is Daria and today I will be talking about content marketing, specifically targeted around travel-related websites and companies. I will be comparing the types of content marketing and what in my opinion is the most effective. ■ To start off I will be speaking about the use of humour in posts. On social media like Tik Tok where it is all very fast-paced and a lot of quick-wit humour, seeing a post from a brand joining in with current trends makes it more relatable and sometimes surprising, in a good way. I will use the Ryanair Tik Tok for this example. The incorporating of a current trend of John Cena dancing along to some music, along with a funny and witty caption “I wasn’t asking, I was telling you” makes it so much more relatable to this generation who are working towards their holiday. It makes them remember that and think about Ryanair when booking their next holiday.
  • 23. Script for Video Pitch ■ The next content marketing strategy is guide videos. These can be simple and quick videos demonstrating how to use their app to check in for your flight, just like the Ryanair video. Or they can be more in-depth, longer videos showing people around resorts just so they can exactly see what the hotel they are booking is offering. In my opinion, the longer guide video of the hotel was really helpful when booking our holiday as we could see and know what to expect beforehand. It also helped with making the decision as it was nicer to see the hotel in not just pictures. ■ Thirdly, the use of phone apps. Everyone nowadays is glued to their phones and has their phone on them at all times. Having something simple as what time the breakfast, lunch and dinner times are, and what activities are on that day and night will allow guests to see and plan their evening accordingly, without having to leave their sunbeds. As well as having your whole trip itinerary in one place allows you to have and see all the information you need in one place.
  • 24. Script for Video Pitch ■ Last but not least, podcasts. Podcasts are an easy way to absorb and listen to information all while getting on with your daily tasks. Listening to someone describe what attractions are available, about the weather and many other things. If you don’t like the sound of something skipping to another place, or episode, is as easy as ever. ■ Now these were the best content marketing techniques in my opinion because it all follows a sequence from when you first see the brand on social media, to looking at videos of specific hotels or listening to podcasts to help you decide where to go, to actually booking your holiday and getting everything ready to go. It gets you excited and really looking forward to your well-deserved time off.
