RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS ALLIANCE (RBA)
World's largest industry coalition dedicated to corporate social responsibility in global supply chains.
Formerly known as Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) founded in 2004. Rebranded as RBA in
2017,
Nonprofit coalition of leading electronic companies dedicated to improving social, environmental and
ethical conditions in their global supply chains.
The Code of Conduct establishes standards to ensure that working conditions in the electronics industry
or industries in which electronics is a key component and its supply chains are safe, that workers are
treated with respect and dignity, and that business operations are environmentally responsible and
conducted ethically.
Code of conduct outlines practices that promote fair working conditions, comprehensive labor
protection and environmentally friendly manufacturing processes for the electronics industry.

MEMBERS CRITERIA
Electronics industry or organizations who are involved in design, market, manufacture or provide
goods and services that are used to produce electronic goods.
Code of conduct compliance :
❖ Voluntarily adopted by the business
❖ Requested by the business from its supply chain and subcontractors
❖ Requested by customer / organization we are doing business with.
Such code of conducts are also practiced by other Industries but in different forms.
- SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) SEDEX is the name of the organization – SMETA is the name of an
audit methodology.
The Supplier Ethical Data Exchange (Sedex) is a not-for-profit, membership organization that leads work with buyers and suppliers to
deliver improvements in responsible and ethical business practices in global supply chains.

RBA code of conduct is made up of five sections.
Labor, Health & Safety and Environment is on providing and managing a
conducive work environment and protecting the environment around us from
harm caused by our / related operations.
Under the Ethics, conduct of doing business in a fair and responsible manner.
Management system, talks about elements of an acceptable system to manage
the conformity of the Code of Conduct. It shall be designed to ensure:
(a) compliance with applicable laws, regulations and customer requirements
related to the participant’s operations and products;
(b) conformance with this Code; and (c) identification and mitigation of
operational risks related to this Code.
(c) It should also facilitate continual improvement.

CODE OF CONDUCT : A - LABOR
Participants are committed to uphold the human rights of workers, and to treat them with dignity and
respect as understood by the international community. This applies to all workers including temporary,
migrant, student, contract, direct employees, and any other type of worker.

Participants are to minimizing the incidence of work-related injury and illness, provide a safe and healthy work
environment and provide and accept ongoing worker input and education to solve safety and health issues.
Recognized management systems such as ISO 45001 and ILO Guidelines on Occupational Safety and Health were used as
references in preparing the Code.

Environmental responsibility is integral to producing world-class products. Participants shall identify the environmental
impacts and minimize adverse effects on the community, environment, and natural resources within their manufacturing
operations, while safeguarding the health and safety of the public. Recognized management systems such as ISO 14001
and the Eco Management and Audit System (EMAS) were used as references in preparing the Code.

  • 3. RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS ALLIANCE (RBA) World's largest industry coalition dedicated to corporate social responsibility in global supply chains. Formerly known as Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) founded in 2004. Rebranded as RBA in 2017, Nonprofit coalition of leading electronic companies dedicated to improving social, environmental and ethical conditions in their global supply chains. The Code of Conduct establishes standards to ensure that working conditions in the electronics industry or industries in which electronics is a key component and its supply chains are safe, that workers are treated with respect and dignity, and that business operations are environmentally responsible and conducted ethically. Code of conduct outlines practices that promote fair working conditions, comprehensive labor protection and environmentally friendly manufacturing processes for the electronics industry.   • 4. MEMBERS CRITERIA Electronics industry or organizations who are involved in design, market, manufacture or provide goods and services that are used to produce electronic goods. Code of conduct compliance : ❖ Voluntarily adopted by the business ❖ Requested by the business from its supply chain and subcontractors ❖ Requested by customer / organization we are doing business with. Such code of conducts are also practiced by other Industries but in different forms. - SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) SEDEX is the name of the organization – SMETA is the name of an audit methodology. The Supplier Ethical Data Exchange (Sedex) is a not-for-profit, membership organization that leads work with buyers and suppliers to deliver improvements in responsible and ethical business practices in global supply chains.   • 6. RBA CODE OF CONDUCT ARMADA GLOBAL TECH PLT Labor Health & Safety Environmental Ethics Management System RBA code of conduct is made up of five sections. Labor, Health & Safety and Environment is on providing and managing a conducive work environment and protecting the environment around us from harm caused by our / related operations. Under the Ethics, conduct of doing business in a fair and responsible manner. Management system, talks about elements of an acceptable system to manage the conformity of the Code of Conduct. It shall be designed to ensure: (a) compliance with applicable laws, regulations and customer requirements related to the participant’s operations and products; (b) conformance with this Code; and (c) identification and mitigation of operational risks related to this Code.
