Black Feminism and Womanism and the African Diapora
Audre Lorde was a 49-year-old black lesbian feminist writer and activist. In her writing, she addressed how society separates people into hierarchical groups based on aspects like race, class, sex, gender and sexuality. to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover

Understanding intersectionality
- 2. The root of the word intersectionality is intersect—to cross, to meet, to overlap, or to mix.
- 3. An intersection is a place where two or more roads meet, especially when at least one is a major highway; junction.
- 4. Intersectionality regarding a person’s identity is the overlap of an individual’s various social identities.
- 5. Intersectionality is the study of overlapping social identities and related systems of oppression, domination, or discrimination.
- 6. Notion of oppression within society—such as racism, sexism, classism, ableism, homophobi a, transphobia, xenophobia and belief- based bigotry—do not act independently of each other.
- 7. This framework can be used to understand how systemic injustice and social inequality occur on a multidimensional basis.
