Welcome to the UnMP3 User Guide.
Here you will find quick explanations for both the mp3 player, and the
component’s administrator.
You will see how to change colours, set initial player settings, upload mp3’s
and edit the playlist of your mp3’s.

Playlist open/close.
Open player in new/popup
window.
Share mp3 player. Click to view
the html code. Copy the code and
place it on your website.
Repeat playlist.
Play straight through playlist in
order.
Volume on.
Volume control – click to change.
Playlist. Mouse-over tracks to
scroll up and down the list. Click
track name to change track.
Play once only – playlist not
repeated.
Shuffle tracks. Select to play
tracks at random.
Volume off. (mute)

- 3. Back-end (administrator)
UnMP3 COMPONENT
This is the first screen you will see when you select UnMP3 from the Joomla
components list in your Administrator area.
Any module you create in the Joomla module manager will show in a list here
on the first screen of the component.
Choose Edit Settings or Edit Playlist to modify the UnMP3 player module.

- 4. EDIT SETTINGS
Auto Play will start playing tracks automatically once the flash is loaded.
Loop will repeat the playlist. User can change this option on the player.
Shuffle will play tracks in a random order. User can change this option on the
player.
Initially Open option will tell the player to expand the playlist once flash is
loaded.
Initial Volume can be set anywhere from 0 to 100 (100 being the maximum
loudness).
Foreground Color is the colour of all icons and text in the player.
Circle Color is the colour of the circle that contains the play/pause, skip
buttons in the player.
Background color is the player’s background colour.
Background Alpha will set the transparency of the background colour.
*Note – to help with choosing the hex values of a colour, we have added
a colour picker. Click the colour-wheel icon to visually select a colour
and obtain the hex value to put in the field.

- 5. PREVIEW
The preview screen is there for your convenience. Use to quickly see your
colour choices.

- 6. EDIT PLAYLIST
ADD FILE:
Type in the title of your track. (and band name if you like).
Choose the mp3 file you want to upload.
Add MP3!
*note large mp3 files can take a while to upload so be patient and wait for the
success message to appear.

- 7. EDIT
Here you can see the playlist information including all tracks you have added
to the player.
Order – type in the number you want that track to appear as in the playlist.
Lower numbers play first eg. 0 or 1… Higher numbers play last.
Title – here you can edit the title of the track.
Published – tick to include the track in the player. Untick to remove it from the
player but keep it in the database in case you want it back on later.
Delete – select to completely remove a track from the player, database, and
physical mp3 file.
