The UC SDO conducted its first online Division Federated Student Government election using the Zoom platform. Sixty-six aspiring student leaders from elementary and secondary schools presented their platforms and answered questions about leadership and addressing issues like misinformation and inequality. In the end, Sheila Marie Gumtang was elected President of the Division Federated Supreme Student Government and Civ Andrada was elected President of the Division Federated Supreme Pupil Government.

The study aimed to understand students' perspectives on online learning during COVID-19 at Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto University of Law (SZABUL) in Pakistan. An online survey was conducted of 100 SZABUL students across various departments. The results found that while most students had adequate internet access and skills, they faced challenges with online group assignments. Additionally, students perceived differences between classroom and online learning strategies and saw value in face-to-face interactions with instructors. The study concluded by recommending universities address issues hindering online collaboration, balance online and in-person learning, and further examine factors impacting online learning effectiveness.

Problem arose, where students had multiple admissions in several universities and those who could not afford to write admission examinations to multiple institutions and the not too brilliant students were deprived the opportunity of admission into the very limited Universities. These reasons caused the Federal Government of Nigeria to establish the Joint admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in 1978. Today, studies showed that JAMB and WAEC alone can no more ascertain the best crop of students for admission as there are exam syndicates everywhere in the country to ensure that their candidates/customers make all their papers in one sitting consequently pass their JAMB and get admission as well. This research is therefore proffering an alternative admission paradigm that will go beyond considering only test scores for admission, but will consider aggregate academic records of the prospective students before admission is offered or denied. This alternative method can be actually using Artificial Neural Network techniques. calculated to predict the effect of social networks sites (SNS) on students' academic performance. There was a
significant effect of Social Network Sites on students' academic performance.

ABSTRACT : This research evaluates online learning applied during the COVID-19 pandemic at junior high
schools in Gorontalo District. It takes perspectives from available resources, implementation processes,
achievements, and the influences on student character, knowledge, and skill changes. This evaluative research
was using the CIPPO (Context, Input, Process, Product, and Outcome) model. Research data were collected
through interview, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using a descriptive qualitative method
made up of five steps: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, triangulation, and conclusion
verification. Online learning at junior high schools in Gorontalo District had adhered to the Circular Letter of
the Ministry of Education and culture of the Republic of Indonesia and Gorontalo Regent Regulation. Based on
the input aspects, embracing human resources, facilities and infrastructures, and funding, all schools had
adequate resources for online learning implementation. And yet, some factors came in the way of online
learning. For example, as regards human resources, teachers did not understand how to use technology in online
learning, and several teachers did not have smartphones or laptops. Attributed to students, students could not
understand materials, and some could not afford required gadgets due to family economy condition.
Additionally, some parents could not help students understand materials and assist them during learning
processes. These problems led to declined online learning program products (student learning achievements).
Student achievements were worse than that in previous years. However, student learning competencies
developed significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Smile project is an engineering service-learning initiative carried out through collaboration between Chouaib Doukkali University in Morocco and Pusan National University in South Korea. Since 2016, this project has been conducted annually for engineering students from both universities. Participants are selected through an oral interview, ensuring representation from different majors, years, and genders. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the project transitioned to an online mode starting from 2020. The objective of this article is to investigate the impact of the service-learning approach on learning and its potential for enhancing engineering education. This study aims to compare the face-to-face and online implementations of the Smileproject as examples of this educational approach. The analysis demonstrates a strong positive effect of engineering service-learning as a learning approach, leading to the improvement of engineering students' skills and competencies. interact with other users on the website. The emergence of Social Networking Sites has broadened the base of
contact, interaction, and communication among people living around the globe via the internet. Millions of
students are logging in to these social networking sites, every day. That’s why many students have been blaming
various social networking sites for their steady decrease in grade point averages which has affected their study
time, poor grammar, and wrong spellings when socializing on social media as well as diverting their attention
from their studies. The objective of this research is to find the Effect of Social Network Sites on Students’
Academic Performance in Secondary Schools, Hargeisa Somaliland. A quantitative research design was
conducted among 4 Secondary schools, two public secondary high schools (SHS), and two private SHS. These
are 26 June Secondary School, Mohamoud A. Ali Secondary School, Noradin Secondary School, and Ilays
Secondary School. A well-structured questionnaire was prepared and which were distributed among students
using the probability sampling technique (random number table). Finally, a simple linear regression was
calculated to predict the effect of social networks sites (SNS) on students' academic performance. There was a
significant effect of Social Network Sites on students' academic performance.

ABSTRACT : This research evaluates online learning applied during the COVID-19 pandemic at junior high
schools in Gorontalo District. It takes perspectives from available resources, implementation processes,
achievements, and the influences on student character, knowledge, and skill changes. This evaluative research
was using the CIPPO (Context, Input, Process, Product, and Outcome) model. Research data were collected
through interview, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using a descriptive qualitative method
made up of five steps: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, triangulation, and conclusion
verification. Online learning at junior high schools in Gorontalo District had adhered to the Circular Letter of
the Ministry of Education and culture of the Republic of Indonesia and Gorontalo Regent Regulation. Based on
the input aspects, embracing human resources, facilities and infrastructures, and funding, all schools had
adequate resources for online learning implementation. And yet, some factors came in the way of online
learning. For example, as regards human resources, teachers did not understand how to use technology in online
learning, and several teachers did not have smartphones or laptops. Attributed to students, students could not
understand materials, and some could not afford required gadgets due to family economy condition.
Additionally, some parents could not help students understand materials and assist them during learning
processes. These problems led to declined online learning program products (student learning achievements).
Student achievements were worse than that in previous years. However, student learning competencies
developed significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Uc sdo conducts first online division federated student government election
- 1. UC SDO Conducts First Online Division Federated Student Government Election by Jeru Sagaoinit In what has been a first in the history of the Division Federated Student Government of Urdaneta City Schools Division Office (UC SDO), new student leaders were elected via the use of the Online Zoom Platform on November 03, 2021. Sixty-six aspiring student leaders enthusiastically joined the first online elections organized by the Youth Formation Section of UCSDO. With their headsets and microphones ready and cameras turned on, the 66 student leaders (comprising of 44 Elementary Pupils and 22 Secondary Students) presented their platforms to the best of their abilities with the hope of getting the favor of their fellow co-candidates. The platforms revolved on the creation of new initiatives and programs to aid struggling students who have limited access to online schooling. Gadgets Ready: The student leaders testing the performance of their gadgets and the latency of their internet connection During the question and answer portion of the event, questions on the essence of leadership and how would the student leaders deal with the rampant problems of misinformation, online cheating and educational inequalities were propounded. At the conclusion of the election, Shiela Marie Gumtang of Cayambanan National High School swept the Presidency of the Division Federated Supreme Student Government while Civ Andrada of Urdaneta City SPED Center bagged the Division Federated Supreme Pupil Government Presidency. The conduct of the online election is consistent with the mandate of the Department of Education to provide quality holistic education relevant to the goals of national development. The very first online election was organized by Jeru Sagaoinit and Warlito Telles, Jr., Youth Formation Coordinators of UC SDO.
