Factors Influencing Online Education during COVID-19 Pandemic: Sri Lankan Stu...Dr. Amarjeet Singh
This study examines the factors influencing online education for selected Sri Lankan universities during the COVID-19 pandemic. It also analyses the moderate effect of gender and type of the university on online education. Primary data were collected using a questionnaire via google form from Management students in Sri Lankan selected universities. Data analysis was done through structural equations using analysis of moment structures (AMOS) version 22.0. Attitude, internet and related facilities, curriculum, and self-motivation were found to have a significant positive impact on online education, while workload & time have no significant effect on online education. Among four factors, the strongest influence was derived from self-motivation followed by the curriculum. We have not found significant differences among male and female students’ views on online education, while the impact from the type of university is different among the two categories. This study effectively guides policy makers and university administrators across the educational institutes to decide on continuing online education. It reveals some insights to the teachers, students, and parents to understand the significance of the modern online learning environment and its positive impact on the new learning mode. There is no study related to the factors associated with the impact of online education during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Sri Lankan context.
Academic Integrity in the New Normal Education: Perceptions of the Students a...AJHSSR Journal
ABSTRACT :This study focused on the analysis of the perceptions of the students and instructors of
Polytechnic College of Botolan to determine how the new normal education affects academic integrity. The
researcher used the descriptive correlational quantitative design by employing an online self-administered
questionnaire via Google Forms among 30 instructors and 150 students who were selected using the purposive
sampling techniquefrom SHS, TEP, and ICTP Departments. The data gathered were analyzed on the premise of
the Neutralization theory by Sykes and Matza (1957) and were statistically treated using the Likert Scale,
Weighted Mean, Frequency and Percentage Distribution, and Pearson (r). Results showed that the most common
academic misconduct committed by students in the new normal education is plagiarism, followed by cheating in
online exams. In terms of neutralization strategy, students commonly used denial of responsibility to justify their
misbehavior. Furthermore, findings revealed that there is a significant moderate positive correlation between the
perceived academic misconduct and their justifications indicating that the new normal education negatively
affects the academic integrity of the students. The results of this study were used as a basis for crafting an
intervention plan to address the issue of misconduct in the academe.

EVALUTING ONLINE LEARNING DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AT JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLS...AJHSSR Journal
ABSTRACT : This research evaluates online learning applied during the COVID-19 pandemic at junior high
schools in Gorontalo District. It takes perspectives from available resources, implementation processes,
achievements, and the influences on student character, knowledge, and skill changes. This evaluative research
was using the CIPPO (Context, Input, Process, Product, and Outcome) model. Research data were collected
through interview, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using a descriptive qualitative method
made up of five steps: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, triangulation, and conclusion
verification. Online learning at junior high schools in Gorontalo District had adhered to the Circular Letter of
the Ministry of Education and culture of the Republic of Indonesia and Gorontalo Regent Regulation. Based on
the input aspects, embracing human resources, facilities and infrastructures, and funding, all schools had
adequate resources for online learning implementation. And yet, some factors came in the way of online
learning. For example, as regards human resources, teachers did not understand how to use technology in online
learning, and several teachers did not have smartphones or laptops. Attributed to students, students could not
understand materials, and some could not afford required gadgets due to family economy condition.
Additionally, some parents could not help students understand materials and assist them during learning
processes. These problems led to declined online learning program products (student learning achievements).
Student achievements were worse than that in previous years. However, student learning competencies
developed significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This study aimed to investigate the impact of COVID-19 on the academic performance of students during emergency remote teaching and learning in higher education institutions in Namibia. This study used qualitative methods, meaning qualitative data were collected and analysed using interpretive techniques. This study employed a case study research design as a single unit of analysis. In this case study, the fourth-year NUST students were the participants. This study used semi-structured interviews to collect qualitative data to establish the experiences and views of honour students’ self-regulation learning skills during emergency remote teaching and learning and how it affected their academic performance. The study participants were 30 honour students who provided information regarding their experience and views influence of COVID-19 on the academic performance of students in higher education institutions in Namibia during emergency remote teaching and learning.
The study findings were that most students were facing the challenges of not having devices to participate in online teaching and learning. Some students do not know how to use gadgets to learn, and network coverage was the main issue for some students, such as network data and self-teaching or learning. In addition, some students stated that there was a lack of Internet access for online classes that lack commitment and self-discipline for many students because they know that they do not write the examination on their respective campuses. This study recommends that higher education institutions in Namibia use parallel hybrid teaching and learning of both online and face-to-face modes of teaching and learning.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the learning was conducted by online system. The objective of the research was to understand the commitments and preferences of students in online learning. A total of 516 students participated in filling out an online questionnaire. The data were analysed descriptively referring to the critical success factors (CSFs). Based on the research result, there were three most dominant obstacles, they were: i) Internet interference (42.71%); ii) Limited quota (24.49%); and iii) Other activities (22.92%). There were students who did not attend full-time (22.45%). The weak commitment was boredom (2.04%) and feeling that they understood the module (5.10%). There were students who do not study full-time, only filling out the attendance list (53.1%). A small number of students (2.04%) fill out the attendance list and upload assignments as a top priority. According to this research, 46.7% of students liked online learning and 39.7% did not like it. In addition, 42.83% of students were bored. It means that about 60% of saturation comes from like-dislike preferences. The remaining 40% are influenced by other factors. The students’ commitments and preferences are influenced by many factors. Those who force themselves to learn ineffectively will be at risk of learning loss.

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted changing the model of learning
activities. Teaching and learning activities that have usually been done faceto-face
have now turned into online learning. This study identified student
perspectives on online learning activities for Department of Civics
Education students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Halu
Oleo University, Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used
a survey method by distributing questionnaires in the form of Google Forms
to students, and a total of 227 students participated in this study. Our study
focused on online learning media, learning effectiveness, lecturers' abilities,
obstacles, and student recommendations regarding online learning during the
COVID-19 pandemic. Data analysis in this study was carried out
descriptively, presented in the form of frequency, percentage, and graph. The
study results found that the most effective online learning media felt by
students at the Department of Civics Education were Google Meet and
Zoom Cloud Meetings. Besides, the majority of students considered online
learning to be no more effective than face-to-face lectures. Lecturers need to
provide two-way learning materials through discussion as well as question
and answer. Furthermore, the main determining factors that cause online
learning to be ineffective are network constraints and internet quotas.
Therefore, students expected the lecturers to understand the network
constraints experienced by students during online learning and recommend
implementing learning activities for blended learning (combination of online
and offline) while still complying with the health protocols.
The Impact Digitalization Has on Students’ Behavior on a High-Level Instituti...FinancialMarketCorpo
The overall aim of this study was to describe and understand how the impact of digitalization impacts
students’ behavior on a high-level institution such as the University of Namibia. In order to achieve this aim, the
following research questions/and research objectives were formulated. The findings of the study were as follows:
About 60% of respondents indicated had benefited from digitalization offered by the University of Namibia. Meaning that students had a positive behavior on the digitalization in their learning environment. But about 5 (25%) and
4 (20%) of the respondents showed their disagreement. 4 (20%) of the respondents were neutral as the opted in the
middle of the data collection. Only 2 (10%) of the respondents were in agreement with the digital online platforms
that it created a more collaborative lecture room environment at the University of Namibia.
With thus, students were unsatisfied with digital online platforms in the lecture room and referred to it of being
very inadequate and unreliable. With that mind it is recommended that the digitalization should be updated,
restructure and improved by the University for Better Performances and the promotion of learning among the
stakeholders.
This research is based on the problem of the outbreak of the coronavirus
which has become a global pandemic and a national disaster. The purpose of
this study was to describe the perceptions of lecturers and students on online
learning problems during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data was collected
with the help of questionnaires. This quantitative descriptive study was
conducted among lectures and students who selectedd randomly. Data

interaction of students and lecturers as well as technology connected
to education.
Satisfaction prediction of online education in COVID-19 situation using data...IJECEIAES
This research focuses on the education-based online learning platform. Due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) epidemic, online education is gaining global popularity. It has shown how successful it is in investigating the quality of online education at the COVID-19 pandemic situation by 799 students from different academic institutions, schools, colleges, and universities. A Google web form has been utilized as the data gathering mechanism for this survey. This paper perused the prediction of online education through data mining and machine learning approaches in an online program. The data was collected through online questionnaires. To predict online education's satisfaction rate, four different types of classifiers are used e.g., logistic regression classifiers, k-nearest neighbors, support vector machine, naive Bayes classifiers. The key purpose of this research is to find out an answer to a question which is, "are the student's satisfied with starting the new online teaching system, or will it be an ambivalent effect for students in the future?".
Experiences of University Students with E Learning for Teacher Preparation du...ijtsrd
E Learning was adopted by most universities and colleges worldwide to provide students with ongoing education during the COVID 19 pandemic and is here to last even after the pandemic is over. This study sought to explore the experiences of the students at a higher education institution in Eswatini during the COVID 19 pandemic. The study was based on the following objectives Establish the experiences of higher education students in e learning during the period of COVID 19, determine the challenges faced by the students in e learning during the period of COVID 19 and recommend how e learning may be sustained even after the pandemic. The study was underpinned by the diffusion of innovation theory and was located in the interpretivist research paradigm which followed a qualitative research approach where a phenomenological research design was applied. The study conveniently selected a sample of fifteen 15 fourth year students doing teacher education at a university in Eswatini. Data was analysed using thematic analysis. The findings of the study reveal that e learning was the most appropriate teaching and learning process during the COVID 19 pandemic and has benefits that make it sustainable after COVID 19. This study concludes that students are able to learn at the comfort of their homes due to the flexible nature of e learning. However, despite the positive impact of e learning there are some challenges students face which include limited physical contact and collaboration. The University should try by all means to provide the students with tools for effective teaching and learning. Based on the findings and conclusions, the study recommends that students should be provided with digital tools, trained adequately and get constant updates of software features. The study also recommends that for e learning to be sustained even after the pandemic the university should provide modern technology tools and keep updating the software as well as widen the internet broadband for effective teaching and learning.

WINDING UP of COMPANY, Modes of DissolutionKHURRAMWALI
Winding up, also known as liquidation, refers to the legal and financial process of dissolving a company. It involves ceasing operations, selling assets, settling debts, and ultimately removing the company from the official business registry.
Here's a breakdown of the key aspects of winding up:
Reasons for Winding Up:
Insolvency: This is the most common reason, where the company cannot pay its debts. Creditors may initiate a compulsory winding up to recover their dues.
Voluntary Closure: The owners may decide to close the company due to reasons like reaching business goals, facing losses, or merging with another company.
Deadlock: If shareholders or directors cannot agree on how to run the company, a court may order a winding up.
Types of Winding Up:
Voluntary Winding Up: This is initiated by the company's shareholders through a resolution passed by a majority vote. There are two main types:
Members' Voluntary Winding Up: The company is solvent (has enough assets to pay off its debts) and shareholders will receive any remaining assets after debts are settled.
Creditors' Voluntary Winding Up: The company is insolvent and creditors will be prioritized in receiving payment from the sale of assets.
Compulsory Winding Up: This is initiated by a court order, typically at the request of creditors, government agencies, or even by the company itself if it's insolvent.
Process of Winding Up:
Appointment of Liquidator: A qualified professional is appointed to oversee the winding-up process. They are responsible for selling assets, paying off debts, and distributing any remaining funds.
Cease Trading: The company stops its regular business operations.
Notification of Creditors: Creditors are informed about the winding up and invited to submit their claims.
Sale of Assets: The company's assets are sold to generate cash to pay off creditors.
Payment of Debts: Creditors are paid according to a set order of priority, with secured creditors receiving payment before unsecured creditors.
Distribution to Shareholders: If there are any remaining funds after all debts are settled, they are distributed to shareholders according to their ownership stake.
Dissolution: Once all claims are settled and distributions made, the company is officially dissolved and removed from the business register.
Impact of Winding Up:
Employees: Employees will likely lose their jobs during the winding-up process.
Creditors: Creditors may not recover their debts in full, especially if the company is insolvent.
Shareholders: Shareholders may not receive any payout if the company's debts exceed its assets.
Winding up is a complex legal and financial process that can have significant consequences for all parties involved. It's important to seek professional legal and financial advice when considering winding up a company.
