The document describes experiments with designing a game title called "Waters of the Horizon" where different text effects were tried. The first experiment involved increasing the size of "Waters" and placing the remaining text below it. Later, the opacity of the text was decreased to blend it with the ocean background. Different colors were also tested for "Horizon" before duplicating the layer and adding a blur effect, which was liked. Additional glow effects were then applied to "Horizon" by adjusting settings to subtly make the text stand out without being overextended.

I experimented with color correction effects in After Effects like Tint, Curves, and Color Balance to modify layers and create the illusion of changing time of day and weather for a composition. Applying these effects to top and bottom layers allowed editing of color levels for each respectively. My favorite result emitted a dark tone and I plan to use it for further experimentation in a game title sequence.

Our chosen location was a flat in Kingswood that consisted of a living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom and provided decent lighting. The flat felt fitting for our storyboard and held potential for different shot types to create a horror atmosphere.

We considered making a romance film but felt we lacked the actors and ability to portray romance well. We also felt a comedy would be difficult due to our limited skills and lack of actors. Instead, we decided a film set in a house would be simpler to produce with the resources we have.

The recent surge in pro-Palestine student activism has prompted significant responses from universities, ranging from negotiations and divestment commitments to increased transparency about investments in companies supporting the war on Gaza. This activism has led to the cessation of student encampments but also highlighted the substantial sacrifices made by students, including academic disruptions and personal risks. The primary drivers of these protests are poor university administration, lack of transparency, and inadequate communication between officials and students. This study examines the profound emotional, psychological, and professional impacts on students engaged in pro-Palestine protests, focusing on Generation Z's (Gen-Z) activism dynamics. This paper explores the significant sacrifices made by these students and even the professors supporting the pro-Palestine movement, with a focus on recent global movements. Through an in-depth analysis of printed and electronic media, the study examines the impacts of these sacrifices on the academic and personal lives of those involved. The paper highlights examples from various universities, demonstrating student activism's long-term and short-term effects, including disciplinary actions, social backlash, and career implications. The researchers also explore the broader implications of student sacrifices. The findings reveal that these sacrifices are driven by a profound commitment to justice and human rights, and are influenced by the increasing availability of information, peer interactions, and personal convictions. The study also discusses the broader implications of this activism, comparing it to historical precedents and assessing its potential to influence policy and public opinion. The emotional and psychological toll on student activists is significant, but their sense of purpose and community support mitigates some of these challenges. There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.

- 2. .1. .2. .3. .4. I began by typing the games name: Waters of the Horizon, and coloured it in a sea-blue colour. I then Increased the “Waters” text size and experimented with placing the remainder of the text in different locations. I discovered a process in which I could place the “W” on a separate layer from the rest of the text and enlarge it To make it stand out. I then proceeded to place the remainder of the text below “waters”.
- 3. .1. .2. .3. .4. My next experiment was subtly decreasing the opacity of the overall text to allow it to blend with the ocean more. I then proceeded to experiment with the colour of the “Horizon”. I changed it from blue, to yellow, to dark yellow to orange. I also disovered a technique in which I duplicated the Horizon text layer and added a fast blur effect to the layer which created a readable blurry word which I liked.
- 4. The adding of the blur inspired a new experiment – glow effects. I applied a glow effect to the Horizon and experimented with some of the setting you see above. I really liked the Horizontal and Vertical glow dimensions as it allowed the text to stand out subtley – I wanted to avoid over extending with effects.
