This document describes the evolution of Twitter's website design over 6 years from 2006 to 2011. It notes the introduction of Twitter in 2006 with a light blue theme, design updates in 2008 to be less cluttered and feature better calls to action while still using blue, a wider screen friendly redesign in 2009 with trends and less blue, more insights on what's happening in 2010 with even less blue and almost no bird logo, and a prominent slogan and simplified registration page in 2011 with almost no blue or bird logo remaining.
