*Our neighbours are Bulgaria, Greece to the west; Georgia, Armenia, Iran to the east;
Syria and Iraq to the south east.

*85 million people live in the country.

5. *Our flag is red and white with a crescent and a star.

1920 after te Ottoman Empire.
*Ataturk is the founder of Turkey.
*Ankara is the capital city.

7. *Istanbul is the most popular city with its history dates back to
Roman Empire, Byzantine Empire, and the Ottoman Empire.
*Half of Istanbul is in Europe and the other half is in Asia part.
*The Bosphorus bridge on the right connects Asia and Europe lands.

17. Our school is located in the center of Duzce.

18. There are about 1500 students and 80 teachers in the school.

19. As our school is too crowded, we have two shifts ;
the ones who study in the morning and the ones who study in the afternoon.

20. The morning group starts at 7:30 and finishes at 1:10 pm.
The afternoon group starts 1:15 pm and finishes at 6:50 pm.

21. We have 35 lessons in a week and 7 lessons in a day.

22. A lesson lasts 40 minutes. After each lesson, we have 10 minute breaks.

23. We have Maths, Turkish, Science, Social Studies, English, Religion, Music, Art, P.E, I.T, Technology and Design classes.
Moreover we have 6 hours optional lessons. Students select the lessons they want to study.

24. There are around 30 students in a class.
We have smart boards connected to the internet in each class

25. There is a chess class, intelligence games class , technology and design
class, IT and Science lab..

26. We have two canteens and a big school yard.
There is a also big gym in the school.

27. We have a green garden in the backyard. Students grow plants and vegetables.

28. We love animals. Our school is the home of some
lovely cats.

29. We are an etwinning school officially.
We love etwinning and erasmus projects.

30. We run two Erasmus school partnership project this year. Game On and
Literally EUnited!.
