2. Cast Iron Trolley Wheel
Dimension
• Fully dimensioned trolley
wheel
• Cast iron material
• Angles fully dimensioned
for perfect fabrication
• Hub cut for bearings and
lock washers
• Diameters have allowable
tolerances for expansion
• Mounting holes evenly
spaced to eliminate
vibration and to maintain
balance

3. Cross Head Dimension
• Cross head manufactured
from hot rolled wrought steel
• Dimensioned so assembly is
symmetrical, and
manufactured to handle
assembly load

4. Trolley Wheel Axle Dimension
• Axle manufactured with
carbon cold rolled steel
• All outer dimensions
fabricated to allow for
expansion
• All chamfers are set to 45
degrees for easier pressure
fit

5. Assembly Side Plate
• Side plate manufactured from
hot rolled wrought steel
• Bolts directly to cross head
and axles
• Axle hole fabricated to allow
for expansion and pressure
fit

6. Keeper Plate
• Keeper plate manufactured
with carbon cold rolled steel
• Keeper plate attaches to
side plate to keep axle in
place

7. Assembly Adjusting Shim
• Adjusting shim
manufactured with hot
rolled wrought steel
• Used to adjust spacing
between both wheel
assemblies
• Must be tumbled to remove
burrs
• Assembled between side
plate and cross plate
