Driving a Planet-Positive Change
A diligent pathway to mitigating climate change requires reducing carbon
emissions. To drive nature-friendly change, net zero commitments have become
the norm as the paradigm shift toward sustainability grows.
As a contributor to 27 percent of global carbon emissions1, the transportation
industry was in the spotlight at the United Nations Climate Change Conference
(COP26) in Glasgow.2
Hitachi, a Principal Partner of COP26, welcomed the opportunity to collaborate
by leveraging public-private partnerships to find solutions to address climate
change, ensure a sustainable future and improve people's quality of life.
