The Transforming Education in Norfolk (TEN) Group aims to improve education across seven institutions in Norfolk through collaboration. Originally consisting of a college and two academies, the TEN Group has now expanded to include additional secondary schools, a commercial training provider, and plans to add a primary school. By sharing non-teaching services through Norfolk Educational Services, the partners have realized over £1 million in savings while allowing teachers to focus on students. Evaluation shows increased collaboration between partners on teaching practices as well as a 200-student enrollment boost at the college. TEN Group leaders believe their model of federated collaboration can benefit other educational institutions seeking improved quality, sustainability and coherent student progression routes.
