- #15 Lets look at another modules of FLUKE CONNECT, EquipmentLog EquipmentLog = history at your fingertips… see equipment readings now or from records past. No need to run back and forth from your office to the plant floor to look at old reports…(example: this machine was acting funny about 6 months ago.. Hmm lets see…) Collaborate (get help) on current and past data & share results with your team… even if they are in a different location…
- #16 Another application of Fluke Connect is TrendIt… Automatically create graphs or time-series plots to identify issues (anomalies) and then share with others… Some things are easier to see in a graphical format rather than real-time numerical (sometimes numbers don’t make sense until they are compared to others)
- #17 …lets face it …nobody likes paperwork… The Autorecord allows you to enter data, create reports without sitting behind a computer…how many maintenance people have time to sit and generate reports ?? - #19 Slide says new layer of capability, but as a test tool user myself…, I’d say it’s a game-changer in the way I document and report… Currently 20 kits which are pre-defined for specific applications such as HVAC or industrial maintenance, electricians… kits are made up a commonly paired instruments by trade or profession… Fluke Connect offers worlds largest wireless network for test tools… More tools equipped with Fluke Connect soon… imagine being able to save vibration alignment data along with electrical and thermal info – what a sweet report !
- #20 The app is available on the iTunes website and Google Play for the Android phones = totally free… easy to download, install and connect… More emphasis has been placed on getting the iTunes app released prior to the Android app – Android is more complicated marketplace… If you can download and play Angry Birds on your smartphone, you can easily acclimate yourself to FLUKE CONNECT
- #22 everybody is squeezed for time these days… I don’t know of anyone who has more time on their hands than they need… We are used to writing “after-the-fact” reports, … coffee, phone ringing, other distractions prevent us from getting it done… Fluke Connect will assist you in “real-time” reporting, trending, logging, and more importantly sharing this info with your team or your customers… Most importantly its going to help you work more safely, connect it and back away to a safe distance…(record trending temperatures, voltage, current, harmonics, and other PdM parameters)
- #23 For more information or to request an in person demo, contact your local Transcat representatives… Reiterate some important points (FAQs)::: The Fluke Connect app is pretty straightforward and intuitive for mid - experienced smartphone users – if you can download and play Angry Birds, you can use easily Fluke Connect… How many tools will connect? Up to 11 instruments can be connected, 10 Bluetooth LE and 1 WiFi – each instrument displayed separately in the app… Bluetooth LE saves power 10x better than Bluetooth(battery life) available on tools – WiFi 802.11 available on IR cameras – uses more energy… Bluetooth LE has an open range of at least 50’ – if enclosure or blockage than 10’… If no cell coverage or WiFi – data/images/records is stored on phone…once coverage is re-established, data is uploaded to cloud storage… Increase data usage…overages…no Connect modules will not increase data usage… stores images to the cloud when connected to cellular network or building WiFi – to stop, put in Airplane mode. Some Ti can be upgraded firmware (Fluke SD card)…. Check with Fluke Tech Support !! (way too technical to get into over the phone)
