housed in the TransPort Building, Schiphol East, on the property of Amsterdam
Airport Schiphol in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, Netherlands.
 Transavia.com relocated into the new building on 3 May 2010 with roughly 400
employees.
 The airline’s former main office was in the Building Triport III at Schiphol

Fleet development
Fleet development
 For only brief periods, additional aircraft types were part of the fleet
in small numbers: Airbus A300 (1976-77), Airbus A310 (1998-99),
Boeing 737-400 (1997), Boeing 757-300 (2003), and BAe146-200 (1997).
 Transavia.com has plans to obtain two new rented Boeing 737-800
aircraft; they are scheduled for delivery in April 2015 and April 2016.

Luggage policy
 Starting 5 April 2011, the carrier introduced charges for hold luggage.
 Additionally, the rules for hand luggage have also changed.
 The greatest permissible weight for hand luggage has increased from five to ten kg (also effective 5 April 2011).
