1. MAINTENANCE
Corrective: corrective maintenance, also known as reactive, is one that is applied when an
error occurs in the system, either because something was damaged or broken. When
performing such maintenance, the production process is stopped, thereby decreasing the
amount of productive hours. This maintenance shall not apply if there is no fault. It is
unpredictable in terms of their costs and the time it takes to do it.
Preventive: This service, also known under the name of planned, performed prior to the
occurrence of any system failure. As is done in a planned, not as before, take advantage of
idle hours to perform. This maintenance is predictable with respect to costs and also imply
that demand time.
