This document outlines the plans for a startup competition hosted by Trẻ đẻ khỏe for university students in Ho Chi Minh City. The competition aims to inspire entrepreneurship and consists of 4 rounds over 6 weeks. 20 teams will participate, with each team submitting business ideas and plans to be judged. The top teams will advance to presentation rounds in front of judges and audiences. The winner will receive an investment package prize. Guest speakers, training seminars, and marketing via social media and universities are planned to promote the event.
3. Purpose
• Inducing young people’s inspiration for having their own career.
• Creating opportunities for students to express their enterprising ideas in front
of noted CEO and experts.
• Providing an environment for interacting with other business-oriented people
and making new friends.
• Giving competitors a real chance to seek for real investment in their future
projects.
4. Detailed plan
• 20 teams take part in the competition.
• Each team consists of 3 people.
• 4 rounds and one training day.
• Prize : a package of investment for the winner.
5. Round 1
• First round: 1 weeks (online)
• Teams must submit their initial ideas of their business (name of their
business, general targets, products, etc) in the form of a 1000-word essay
together with a power point introducing their team.
• Only 10 teams remain.
• After the First round, there will be a seminar training competitors on how
to write a detailed business plan.
6. Round 2
• In weeks after the seminar, each team must submit a detailed plan and
make a video clip promoting their products.
• Detailed plan is at least 15-page long. Video is one-minute long.
• Those video will be posted on BEC’s facebook for voting, online voting
accounts for 30% .
• The detailed plans are judged by judges, the score given by judges
accounts for 70%.
• Only 5 teams remain.
7. Round 3 (Semi Final/ on stage)
• Present their plans in 10 minutes in front of the judges and
audience.
• Convince the judges that their business plans deserve the judges’
investment.
• Teams must answer questions from the judges after their
presentation.
• Only 2 teams will remain.
8. Round 4 (Final)
• Present their promotion clips to the judges and audience.
• In 5 minutes, take the judges as customers and persuade
them to buy your products.
• Teams must answer questions from the judges after their
speech.
• The winner will have the final prize.
