This document discusses open and reproducible neuroscience in the age of big data. It highlights that studies that share their data tend to have higher statistical quality and higher citation rates. It introduces the Brain Imaging Data Structure (BIDS) for organizing neuroimaging and behavioral data and tools that use BIDS like MRIQC and FMRIPREP for automated analysis. BIDS aims to make more data accessible to more researchers through standardized file formats and derivatives.
