Sustainable tourism;
 Refers to the type of tourism that take a full account of
the current and future economic, social and
environmental impacts while addressing the needs of
visitors, the industry, the environment and the host
community.
 This is to say that sustainable tourism should be
ecologically sustainable, economically viable and
socially equitable
Integrated tourism principles;
 These are the environmental, economic and socio-
cultural aspects of tourism development, and a
suitable relationship must be established between
these three dimensions to guarantee its long-term
sustainability.
Tourism governance;
 Refers to an interconnectedness between the
stakeholders, politics, public authorities and policy
making authorities, public policy, tourism destination
and local communities found around destination
areas.
 These are all connected through the process of
enacting laws and making decisions about the whole
operating process of tourism industry within a
particular country.

TANZANIA AS FOLLOWS.
 For tourism sector to be of much importance and efficiently
governed integrated sustainable tourism is inevitable due to
the fact that integrated sustainable tourism has been
increasingly recognized throughout the sector.
 However, integrated sustainability into tourism governance
has been of much importance’s as far as tourism sector
governance is concerned.
 Furthermore integrated sustainable tourism principles
involve ecological, social and economical principals as they
are elaborated below;
Tourism should provide quality employment
to its community residents and a linkage
between the local businesses and tourism
should be established.
Education and training programs
to improve and manage heritage
and natural resources should be
established.
Tourism should be initiated with
the help of broad-based
community-inputs and the
community should maintain
control of tourism development.
A code of practice should be
established for tourism at all
levels - national, regional, and
local- based on internationally
accepted standards.
Guidelines for tourism
operations, impact assessment,
monitoring of cumulative impacts,
and limits to acceptable change
should be established.
Sustainable tourism
development can fulfill economic,
social, and aesthetic needs while
maintaining cultural integrity and
ecological processes.
Tourism Planning, development
and operations should be part of
conservations or sustainable
development strategies for a
community.
Local people should be
encouraged and expected to
undertake leadership roles in
planning and development with
the assistance of government,
business, financial and other
interests.
Tourism should be undertaken
with equity in mind to distribute
fairly benefits and costs among
tourism promoters and host
people and areas.
Good information, research and
communication on the nature of
tourism and its effects on the
human and cultural environment
should be available prior to and
during development,
 Integrate conservation of
environmental and
biodiversity resources into all
national strategies and plans.
Enable different
stakeholders in the tourism
industry and local
communities, organizations
and institutions to work
alongside each other.

CONCLUSION:
 Tourism governance in Tanzania is very possible the only thing we have
to do is to realize that tourism is a business like others and may be more
serious than others.
 We have to invest enough efforts in case of capital so that we may
improve our infrastructures such as airports, railways, roads, hotels and
resorts.
 Improve our technologies in terms of income collection, transportations
and accommodation.
 Regulate and have a regular updates of our fees concerning to the
competitive market, updates the knowledge of our experts in tourism
each day and then in accordance to the period through both short
trainings and long trainings so that they may have a standard code of
practices and enough valid knowledge when they are providing a
services.
 lastly but not least most important is to have a participatory system in
running the industry through involving all stakeholders of tourism in
decision making, involving host communities to care the tourist
attractions and share the benefits of tourism with those communities
and stakeholders in a mutual manner.
